I didn't hear back from Andy, I was due to chase it up but I have been super busy at work and just not had a chance.

I am shifting jobs and will be in London for a large portion of October so will be putting it back on my agenda for November.

I know.

Felt really tired today - so I have taken it as a rest day as I was at the Gym Yesterday for Cardio as well.

Also, started MK-2866 cycle - 20mg PD for 12 weeks.

currently weight in at 109.8kg,

So I have put on weight in the last few weeks - which I didn't expect. I don't know my exact BF% but I have calipers on the way so will but some stats up shortly.

I have 100% dropped some fat though as my trousers are noticeably looser than they were around the waist.

It is - its the chemical name for it. Much like Cardarine is GW501516

Though I think it is too early for it to be that - just shoes how much some tweaks to form can improve performance. I have 180KG in my sights. Which will be the heaviest I will have "properly" squatted. (i.e, hip crease below knee depth)

I am toying with the idea of alternating Squats and Dead-lifts though. Not decided yet.

I know. More than I expected to be shifting this morning. But all felt good. I feel like I am getting back into the groove I was in 8/9 years ago.

Been watching this guys vids:  https://www.youtube.com/user/athrall7

Seem to have helped me tweak a few things that added up to the jump in performance.

Fully bitten by the bug again.

I have a feeling the Osta is starting to work its magic.

Despite the monster session yesterday I have woken up with literally Zero DOM's, none, nada, Zip. Everything feels great.

Now, this could be a coincidence, but I have never not had any soreness, even when I was using AAS, and my legs should have some pain.

Dropped my carbs over the last couple of days and noticed it today - had plenty of energy, but not as much in the tank as the last couple of workouts.

Thursday 11/10/2018
Squat - 10x60, 10x100, 4x140, 2x150, 1x160, 1x165 (Big drop off after 140KG, but +5KG on max)
DB Bench - 10x24, 10x24, 8x40, 8x40, 8x40
DB Row - 8x40, 8x42, 8x42
Military Press - 8x60, 7x60, 5x60 (These seem to be dropping for some reason)
Chins - 5xBW, 5xBW, 5xBW, 4xBW
Seated Calf - 10x60, 10x80, 10x100, 10x140, 10x140
Hammer - 8x22, 8x22, 8x18
Tri Pushdown (V-Bar) - 10x50, 10x50, 10x50

I am going to be doing some more mobility work on my non lifting days after cardio as I think this should help.

Has the DOMS kicked in yet?

As you've used AAS before, you will probably be disappointed with the osta. It really is only a slight bump mate. Makes a difference to a natural only trainer though. Still, a slight bump is still something.

Some cracking sessions though bud.

Yea, I am not expecting a massive difference, and I suppose have different goals at the moment - I will be going back to AAS as some point (next year) but really trying to cut at the moment so I was more interested in its recovery and muscle preservation properties than massive gains.

More of a helping hand in the background than a rocket.

Also, still no sign of any DOM's, anywhere.

Update guys, I have still be training (where I can) but not had any chance to update my journal.

Recently moved jobs and have been spending a lot of time in London, combined with moving house last weekend.

More travel next week but should be back to normal the following week.

Hi Gents,

About time I picked this back up. I have been travelling a lot with work (mostly London) and my training has suffered.

But hopefully that is done and I will be able to get back into a normal routine.

I have changed up what I am doing, as I have become more interested in the strength aspects of training so for now have moved to a Stronglifts 5x5 program to get back and kick started this year.

First and odd session this morning, I downloaded the spreadsheet and app - the weights I start off on seem really light compared to my current 5 rep max, but I am running with it given the increase on a session by session basis.

So today:

Squat - 62.5KG - 5x5
Overhead Press - 30KG - 5x5
Deadlift - 1x5 - 100KG

30 mins on the cross trainer given the session was so short (only had 30 seconds rest between sets)

Love stronglifts!

The true style you start with the bar and add on weight. They say to do this to assist in learning the movement correctly prior to getting semi-challenging weights. Obviously the downside being a more seasoned trainer is the weeks of not grafting.

Just pick somewhere where it feel easyish and then build upon it with good form. Lots of fun though! It what I started my journal on!
