Starting first cut tomorrow please can i have some advice?

Im 217lbs today and tomorrow I start my first cutting journey.
Im doing an hours cardio 5 times a week and weights 3-4 times a week.
Here is the diet i intend to follow with sunday being a cheat day (within reason)

8.00am Breakfast
2 slices granary bread + olive oil-based spread
3 egg whites + 1 egg yolk scrambled
200ml skimmed milk
100ml orange juice
Multi vitamin and fish oil capsule

10am
1x chicken breast
2 oatcakes
Apple

12.30pm
Tuna (100g) + 1 tbsp low fat natural yoghurt
½ small chicken breast (60g)
1-2 slices granary bread + olive oil based spread
Salad

3.00pm
200g cottage cheese
Banana

45 min pre-workout
80g chicken breast
1 oatcake

TRAIN

Immediately post workout
2 scoops whey protein in water (Currently using Maximuscle pro-max diet)

7.30pm
Family dinner.
Usually meat and veg healthy and clean. If its high carb I will just have a small portion (pasta etc)

10.00pm
80g chicken breast
Any comments? Is this a good plan?

The food sources look clean enough and well thought out.

I think I would switch the cottage cheese in the afternoon around with the chicken before bed.

Also not sure 45 minutes is sufficent digestion time for chicken pre workout - if you feel a benefit from eating or ingesting calories close to your workout then I would be inclined to make it maybe a liquid meal that is quickly absorbed or bring it back a little to earlier in the pm - though what time do you actually train as I do not think you have to have had eaten within 1-2 hours of training - personally I find a full stomach is detrimental to performance and there is a train of thought that the blood required for the gut and digestion process will be competing with your goals in the gym (do not know if this is fact before challenged!).

Also as well laid out as your diet was - how heavy are you and how many calories a day is this, how much protein , carb, fat etc as this will be essential for you to continue weight loss as you will have to be fairly regimented with how much of what you eat to maximise reducing body fat optimally.

Food choices look good, I would run it for 2 weeks and see how much weight you've lost... if dropping fat then continue, if fat loss is minimal then drop carbs a little or increase cardio.

I wouldn't have a cheat 'day'... you could undo your hard work, I would schedule 1 to 2 cheat 'meals' per week.

    Good luck with it mate.

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it.

My story and photos are here-

I am lucky in that I can build muscle quite easily but the flip side of that is that I also put on and store fat easily!

Im focusing on cardio during this cut doing an hour 5 days a week. I will also be doing maintenance weights but the aim is to drop as much fat as possible then once I'm happy build mass from there.

The whole high intensity as opposed to fat burning cardio really confuses me.
