On The Flop
Look what the cat dragged in!!!!

How's it going old mate?, good to see you back!!!

Deano!  Long time.  Hope all is well and the training productive.

Things ks have been pretty **** to be honest, but onward and upward.  No better medicine than getting stuck into some training.

I wish!  Going to ignore where I am and just crack on.  Long road ahead.

Really look forward to catching up with your journal and exploring the madness therein.  Your deadlifts must be astronomical by now!

hope all is well.

Done a few small sessions since last on.

a1) subscap push up 6,6,6
a2) bench plyo push 6,6,6
b) bb push press 3x5
c) bench 4x5
d1) flyes
d2) tri ex
d3) curl

Struggling for time to train and time during the actual session.  Weekend was nuts.  Decided I need to wing training a bit until things settle.

20 minute session...

Very quick warm up
a1) front squats  50/5,5,5   60/5,5   70/5
a2) high pull  50/5,5,5,  60/4,4,  70/3
b1). Facepulls 20,20

tonight...

a1)  Front squat  50/5, 55,5, 60/5, 70/5, 80/5.  Band dislocations in between
b1)  Hang clean  50/5,  60/5,  65/5,5,5.  Walking lunges in between sets
c1)  Push press  50/3,3,3  Just seeing how injured arm felt.  Band aparts in between.

Sessions will look more like tonight's going forward.  Looking at the above I think things are a good twenty or thirty percent down on where I left them.  Much to do!

I’m in a very similar position, I have just come back from 4 months of constant work travelling in some Pretty remote places with very little/no access to gyms. I have dropped 1stone 4 in this time because of lack of training. I won’t have to work away for atleast another year now but I am obvi still working Now I’m back a very manual job my biggest worry is the initial hit back in too the gym. I have such a manual job that I’m worried about those first couple of sessions back. 😭

I do mate, yes.  Gone through some personal upheaval hence not really training the past two years.

Have moved and had to clear a lot of stuff.  Just setting up the new space now.

Will be in a better place come summer's end.

That's a fair amount to lose over four months but I can see how that easily happens.  Guess I am at least 14-21 lbs down and fatter into the bargain.

First sessions will be tough but you will soon get in the swing of things.

Oooosh! It's been two years? Doesn't seem that long ago we were bantering lol.

Sorry to hear about the upheaval. Fresh start isn't a bad thing. Focusing on lifting will certainly get things moving physically and mentally mate!
