Stavross's super squat/dead
Hi there muscle talkers, tommorow i'll be starting the super squats old school 20 rep squat routine aiming to gain a stone or so over a couple of months. So far this year i reckon i'v added about 8lb of muscle to my bod' mostly on legs shoulders and back so i'm really gonna go for it with the food, milk and protien and i just got some CEE to help. I'm not too bothered if i gain a bit of fat during this time as i can allways cut it later.
I'll pretty much follow the routine in the Super Squats book exept i'll alternate 20 rep squats and 20 rep deads. about 2 workouts per week and aiming to add 2.5 kg to the bar each workout.
the routine go's like this:
one arm db row 2x15
bench press 3x10
calf raise 3x15
My starting weights will be 85kg for squats and deads and around 35kg for military's
27.5 kg db's for rows and around 60kg bench press.
if i can add weight each week then i will be pretty chuffed. I know for a while i'll be able to with the squats and deads as i've pulled back form over 100kg to get some momentum going. beyond that though will be tough for me.
