Steak recipies

I have just bought a load of diced steak from lidl.

I am looking to have it PPWO with rice and veg.

Does anyone have any cooking suggestions or simple recipes that I could use as i will be having it most days from now on

Tough cuts of meat brittas, itll be like chewing shoe leather mate. Thats why they call it stewing steak, it needs to be stewed for a few hours to become edible

I think it is for stewing.

    I had it yesterday.

threw it in a frying pan with
    tomatoes
    peppers
    onions
    green beans
    spices

    served with brown rice

I'm suprised it wasn't very tough and chewy if you didn't stew it!

Is it nutritionally better to stew this steak?

No, but generally stewing / braising steak is tougher than cuts like fillet or sirloin, so you tend to have to stew them for a while to make them tender. If you are happy with how they come out after the being fried then crack on

Stewing steak really is a tough meat, I guess you could always cut it even smaller which would make it easier to swallow(litterally).
