Same.

Worst thing about it was that it was a conscious decision to bulk and continue doing so. Undid a lot of hard work I put in last year.

On plus side though hopefully a little more muscle there now.

Currently 107kg at 6"5, down from 111 four weeks ago.

Plan is to cut down to ~98 this round, take a few months break then carry on down to sub 90 to hopefully see some abs/definition. Last year I got down to 95kg and was trim, but without definition.

That's a good weight mate but at sub 90 wouldn't you be quite slim for your height.  I don't know much about dieting down so I don't really know how to gauge when its to look a certain way Im only roughly comparing in my head from what iv seen in strongman weight categories.

I can only say they have never felt so sore lol sneezing was awful.

As for fitness I still think its a bit to early to say iv only done 4 sessions and weights have taken a back seat for the time being im going to slowly reintroduce them further down the line once my body has loosened up and become more fluid with the boxing.

Not 100% of the time but to keep calories low I tend not to have breakfast track lunch then have what my lass has cooked for the family in the evening.

Lol, sore abs are great fun, every task becomes an agony. I remember the first time I did rollouts and genuinely thought I'd ripped something open.

Fitness will come mate.  It sort to of sneaks up on you, you just have to be consistent.  I find it to be easy come, easy go.  Also your weight will have a big impact, even losing half a stone will have you gassing less.

You are probably right mate, but I will have to gauge when I get there. I am an ectomorph build so naturally very skinny anyway. I can touch my thumb and little finger together around my girly wrists lol.

Hoping for the effect of losing weight makes me look bigger.

MONDAY - 17-DECEMBER-2018

Boxing tonight was a bit of a struggle to get going but after 10 - 15 minutes I loosened up enough and got into the flow of things.

Once the session was over I watched some of the lads that are fighting in March do there sparring I definitely want to get the weight off and get in a few rounds with them.

I have a lot to improve on (fitness, stamina, technique) to get to that required level but hopefully in the new year ill get to have a crack at it.

It will come mate, you just have to be consistent.  Give it 6 months and you'll be a new man, then when new people start, that's when you'll see the difference.

Last session of 2018 i done 15 minutes of skipping followed by 10 rounds of bag work with 1 minute rest in between rounds.  Finished this off with a steady state 15 minutes on the treadmill.

Dusting off the weights tomorrow for a full body session.

First boxing session of 2019 and it was a killer.  The place was packed with new members but after that session im not sure how many will be back.

I was meant to start lifting last week but fell ill with Laryngitis on new years eve of all days.  I will be doing my first weight lifting session tomorrow im sure thats going to be a shock to the system.
