Stopping exercises because of sweaty hands

Hello guys,

I have hiper hyperhidrosis and I'm lifting more weight in a deadlift, I have to stop the exercise, because at some point the bar start to slip from my hands. I really like to use nothing, because I like to feel the bar and the grip, but it's impossible for me because of that.

My old gym had some sponges like these ones you can see in the picture, and they were really nice, I had no problem.
However I can't find them, maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. Could you guys help me? I can't use chalk, it's not allowed. So maybe the only solution is using gloves? I hate it lol. If only I could find those sponges....

Thanks

Find a gym where you can use chalk.

Liquid chalk or Driclor. Makes no mess at all.

You seriously cannot find sponges anywhere? They aren’t special. They’re just yellow car sponges which you trim to size. Pretty much every large supermarket, DIY store, petrol garage, Halfords, Wilkinson etc would have them.

Also the internet. Amazon, EBay etc.

But don’t use sponges to deadlift. Or gloves. Find a proper gym that allows chalk.

Thank you all for the quick responses.
Liquid chalk will it really help with the sweaty hands? If it does, then I'll obviously prefer that!

Check that liquid chalk is ok to use first, some gyms don't allow that either as it clogs up the knurling on the bars.

Like they say train in a gym that allows chalk or buy some pulling straps or sponges or even gloves if you have to, or have you tried using hook grip or reverse grip on deadlifts (one over nans the other underhand)

    bodyweight 70k lifts in comp snatch 132.5k cl+jk 160k
    78k lifts in training sn 145k cl+Jk 170
