Storing Flaxseeds

I've always bought from H&B, where they come whole and then just blitzed them up first to crack the shell and use in whatever I'm making.

But is it possible to blitz them all up in a blender into a powder, then just store them in the tub like that? They won't go funny or anything?

you can buy Ground flaxseed, so cant see why you cant grind them yourself, and prob best keeping in an airtight container, probably cheaper than h&b if you bought them online already ground too

Yeah airtight container - they would be fine!
Sounds like you'd be buying a large amount here now, i wouldn't blitz them all at once. But def airtight them both.

    Blended flaxseed is pretty stable.
If you grind it too fine and release oil, that will oxidise rapidly.
