Storing flax oil

Ive just got a couple of bottles from savant health.

Do they have to be in the fridge?

And is it ok to keep both of them in there, or should i put 1 in the freezer until I need to open it?

On the bottle it says to refrigerate at all times, but does this mean when its not open yet too?

And it also says use within 8 weeks once opened, is this a good estimate?

Thanks.

was agreed that the powder is desirable over the oil. Since you bought it from Savant, have a word with Tony Barnes, he'll know best about that particular brand you bought.

you can buy flax seed powder....

keep them both in the fridge. You can keep one in the freezer if you like.

If you going to use them pretty quick, fridge is fine. If not stick one in the freezer and other in the fridge.

Keep out of direct light and avoid any major temperature changes

As above- if you're using before the use by, fridge is fine. Otherwise you can freeze for up to 2 years before quality starts dropping. Once opened it does need using within a couple of months, otherwise it will turn for the worse...! One of the reasons it only comes in 250ml bottles to make sure it isn't sat open for too long.
