Strange question, sheep vs human in a running race.

Sorry for this bizarre question but me and my lass are in total disagreement on this, who would win in a straight 100m sprint, the average human or the average sheep, any studies would be gratefully recieved(yes it started while we were sh1tfaced)

Cheers.

The Sheep everytime. Cos sheep are cool and have nicer running shoes.

H20... just go out in a field and try to catch a sheep...

of course... you could end up with a reputation this way...

Sheep are quite fast, only a good sprinter could catch one I'd guess

lol, she`s tried that already mate(and failed miserably) her defence is that the sheep is running on adrenalin etc and fears for it`s life, so a fairer comparison would be a straight 100m race.

It depends on the time of year. A sheered sheep would outrun a human, but it's full woolly coat would cause significant backward wind resistance that an adequately trained sprinter could outrun. I know coz I have tried to chase one wearing nothing but my wellies

well i am rather good at running and in the past hav chasaed sheep doing them for pace wasnt hard i didnt try grab or catch it i imagine thatd be difficult! but a cow once started running at us in a filed and wow it was quik! lucky enough got over a fence and escaped it but if the fence was another 20meters or so i recon it would caught us.
