Strength and muscle

I'm on a roll today...

anyway, I'm on a diet to lose weight [fat...] and have so far lost ~10lbs, no doubt that's muscle too. However, my strength in the gym has increased in some exercises, or stayed around the same.

I know size isn't always strength and vice versa, but is this a good indication that I'm going the right way - i.e. not losing too much muscle?

thanks

firsly well done for loosing 10lbs you have rearly answered your own question you now that when you loose bodyfat it is virtually imposible that its all fat so its down to percentages or degrees of......... you say you have not lost much strength so how ever much muscle you have lost sounds like it was not a lot. You still have your strength maybe try taking some before and after pictures when you have lost some more weight hopfully mostly being fat again mate

    thanks mate

It's good to hear that, I was worried that I'd lose a lot of strength but so far so good! Image wise I don't think I look any different, but clothes seem a bit looser.
