Struggling to source piracetam... oxiracetam any good?

I found oxi gave me stonking headaches even at very small doses which interfered with any positives that may have been noticeable. I had better results with aniracetam however having tried them all I've stuck with piracetam on the basis of it's effective, simlar results to aniracetam and it's much more economical to use.

Where have you tried sourcing the piracetam from?

SSHealthfoods is based a few miles away from me. They've been around a while and generally get good feedback, there have been a few posts in the supps section complaining about poor customer service and delayed dispatch (several weeks) with some orders.

If you're going to purchase from them, I'd suggest giving them a ring to check they have it in stock before ordering via the website. I'm not sure if they are open on weekends, if so I could pop down and purchase a tub for you then post it off to you next week if you can pay me back via paypal.

SSHealthFoods is the don. Expensive P&P but low prices make up for it.

This will make you go hmmm - the guy that set up the store (don't know if he still owns it or is still involved) was old MT member McAke's dad, or so he reckoned.

Where have you tried sourcing the piracetam from?

Searched on here to look through the old threads I remembered and checked the link in there; all out of stock, looked on Astro Nutrition as they're my favourite store and none there, Googled and everything I came across said out of stock, even sponsored link!  So tried eBay and could only find the above!

Yes it works, for some it's effects can be quite subtle, for others a little more pronounced. Don't expect it to turn you into a genius over night however, isn't that right Red Bull? lol

Average dose is 2-4g per day (many people start with a intial dose of 4g then drop back to 2g per day maintenance after a couple of weeks). No point in taking any more as results don't increase with higher dosages. Cycling is usually recommended (take a couple of weeks break every couple of months or only use in the run up to exams etc) and it's a good idea to supplement wth a source of choline whilst taking piracetam to avoid cholinogernic headaches (which hurt, a lot).

As for it's legal status, bit of a gray area. It should be classed as a medicine under the MHRA guidelines preventing it from sale in this country but as you can see some suppliers don't pay too much attention to this and it's also available for import from many overseas suppliers (not sure of the legal status of this).
