Supplement Website Q

Afternoon

Was wondering has anyone's buying habits changed in regards to buying supplements off online retailers?

I have noticed in myself that I am shopping about quite a bit now whereas this time last year I was using the same company monthly.

Online now I think (I know ha due to increase in whey prices) you can see a difference in prices albeit it may only be a couple of quid here and there.

Does anyone feel a loyalty to any particular retailer (I used to) but now even if it is a saving of a fiver am deviating from what I am used to.

I suppose this is the same across my whole life at the moment I am online at the weekend comparing supermarket prices people might say that is anal but for the guys on a strict budget its necessary.

Just an afternoon wondering

Yes, Definitely shopping around for my proteins, I end to go for the cheaper end of the market,as personally i do not see a lot of difference between a 10.00 per kg or a 20.00 per kg protein powder.

To be honest i have not found a cheaper/reliable/better site than discount supplements, but i still look  everyday at a dozen sites just to see if i can get that bargain..

That's it mate I am due to make an order I have been on about 6 websites already. Ha

Its been spoke about recently but the market must be so cut throat at the moment. Esp with the amount of online retailers. There is a wee shop in my hometown and he sells everything at RRP and I know the rates of the area for rent and I am amazed he is still trading.

I use to use muscle finesse quite a bit, but now their getting rid of 10% Tuesday prices won't be very competitive.

I now use dolphin fitness, I admit they have a 3.99 delivery charge but buy 4 items and it's an extra £1 per item still better than the sponsors. CNp pro whey for £29.99.

Have tried bulk suppliers but not a fan of their flavours plus MP charge p&p which don't make them that cheap.

Will always look around for best prices.

Yeah Muscle Finesse change of direction on the 10% is kind of what prompted my post. I like their loyalty scheme but to be honest for it to be worthwhile you need to spend quite a bit monthly.

Looking at Predator Nutrition their prices look pretty good.

    Hi Wato,

The Silver and Gold Memberships definitely rewards the bigger spenders but ALL customers are now getting 2% in Loyalty Points. This is basically like an ongoing 2% discount off all your orders before any voucher codes are applied (which will be getting sent out). Many more offers are also being added over the coming weeks including LOADS tomorrow

I now check about 10 supp sites before I place an order and it definitely pays to shop around e.g. supp site A selling 10lb bag of ON Whey at £62 after discount and supp site B selling the same product at £83.99.
My conclusion is that there isn't a best site for everything I need so I will always be shopping around. I'm organised enough to not need next day delivery and I'm happy to wait 2-3 days as long as it's free. Samples are always nice because I take them on holiday but they are not essential when I'm looking at making a purchase.
Because I shop around, loyalty points are quite worthless to me and I would much rather have the price of the products cheaper.
