Switching From Cutting to Bulking Diet??

Last year I went a bit over board with my bulk and put on far too much fat! This year I want to limit the fat I gain so it will be easier to cut next year!

My stats are as follows

age: 23
weight: 168 pounds
Height: 5 '6
BF: 10-12%
Been lifting seriusly for about 3 years
I have an office job so im sitting down all day

My curent cutting diet looks like this.

6.00am - 30-40 minutes steady cardio

6.30am - 50g whey with water

7.30am - 4 egg whites 2 yolks,50 g of oats

10.15am - 75g of tuna with table spoon of olive oil, EFA seed mix Sprinkle with 1 multi grain ryvita

1.15pm - 200g chicken breast or 200g turkey breast....with watercress and spinach leaves and cucumber covered in olive oil with 2 ryvitas

3.30pm - 50g of oats in water

4.00pm - half chicken breast or tin of tuna

5.45pm - 45 minutes TRAIN (Weights)

6.30pm - 2 scoops of ON's Whey with water

7.30pm - 200g turkey breast with 50 grams of brown rice and green veg

10.30pm - bed time - whey in water with peanut butter and 2 desert spoons of quark

What would you do to this diet to convert it into a bulking diet!

Thanks

Maybe drop the cardio to 30 mins, and just do cardio 2-3 times per week.

3.30pm add proteins or just combine with 4pm meal.

Could include some form of quality carbs PWO to bump up calories.

Lose they whey before bed - solid protein or casein blend/casein based foods, i.e. up the quark and keep with the peanut butter.

It is a possibility, depending on how you react to highish carbs, and also how active you are.

If you dont go with starchy carbs, you can still have your protein and fat meals with fibrosu carbs.

    Thanks Gaz

One more thing. As im 168 pounds now. Does this mean when I'm looking to bulk I should be having around 1.5 grams of carbs per pound of body weight or am I way off with this?

1.5-2 grams of carbs per bodyweight is often a number used when people are looking bulk.

However, have as many as you feel you need in order to grow, provide quality macronutrients and nutrients for your diet and also so you feel energised for sessions and also enough PWO to help recovery from weights and grow, etc...
