T3.... who likes or dislikes it?

I've got interest in T3 and have been reading up on it. I was just wondering what you guys thought of it, and how you've had sucess with them or not. As always, I appreciate your input.

Yes it 'works' both in cutting and bulking cycles. I really can't emphasise enough the extreme care required with thyroid meds. You don't want to get it wrong and risk fcuking yourself up.

What should you look out for PB mate ?
except the obvious of not exceeding the recommended dose,
taper it and not running it too long etc...?

It should be tapered up both up and down. Very slowly on the downside, especially nearing the end to avoid thyroid shock. Max dosage would be around 100mcg-125mcg ed.

Yes I've used it both cutting and bulking and found it very good. It must be run alongside AAS to prevent muscle atrophy.

Thyroid hormones regulate metabolic rate. This is useful whilst cutting as calorie expenditure is drastically increased. However they can also be manipulated during bulking (i.e. calorie positive state) as increased T3 levels will increase nutrient metabolism and utilization rates.

Erm no, that's not the idea! In simple terms, it serves to increase the rate of protein turnover thus greater potential for muscle gain.

I was going to post this story tonight anyway (have had exams so not much posting time recently. I was at a mates the other night and his mate who is a doctor was there. Obviously I steered the conversation to the subject of steroids as I am about to order my first course and was wondering what his opinions were. He began asking me what types of drugs are used in bodybuilding etc and he was fascinated as I began telling him all the steroids, anti-e's etc that are used. He said that in this little area of pharmacology he knew very little as the doses used in bodybuilding are way above the physiological doses he is educated in. However when I mentioned T3 he was shocked, and said messing with the thyroid gland was one of the stupidist things you could do, and it would be easy to cause irreversible damage. I found this interesting because he was a good guy, happy to admit when he didnt know and didnt have a bad opinion on the responsible use of steroids. However he seemed SURE that T3/T4 were very bad ideas.

just a note T3s are ok, but I always use clenbutrol for cutting up as I find its a lot better and theirs no risk of damageing the tyroid. only big advantage to T3s are they are dirt cheap.
