Are you feeling less fatigued because you were concerned you might be peaking too early? You feeling positive? It's been interesting reading this. Good luck

I must admit I feel a little run down. Next week(first part) I'm doing nothing more than some stretching, light ab work and possibly some light dumbell work...after Wed. i ain't even going to gym. So hopefully
as you say scruffy the rest will rejuvenate me. Lets hope so
Thanks for you guys support

Well..I drive 4-5 hours to stay in hotel tonight. Meet starts
at 9 A.M. tomorrow. I was told it could take all day and into the evening
to complete everything, plus awards with as many as 100 contestants
on hand. Looking forward to it still. I will post on Monday and maybe have some picts froms meet also.

Well....things certainly did not go as planned. Squats were opener and to keep it short I bombed!!! :(( Got a majority red light all three times. I accepted the first one...second one I sprung up so fast that I had to shift my foot to regain balance...red light. Final attempt I went as low as I could
as ascencded fairly easy ...red ligth :(( I have a digital pict I will post in a few days and you guys can judge for yourself. As it happens out of 56 lifters in event I WAS STILL THE ONLY ONE IN MY BRACKET!! I was thoroughly dissappointed with myself. First one I know, but still....:((

OK the good news-
*Our team won
* We had 20 lifters....9 first placers, 2 second placers
* Overall best total of 1710...from a 217 lbr!!!
*It was a good experience for me and I am planning on training with
team on Tuesdays to work on my squat!!!!!!!!!!
*Going to enter another full power in November and a dead only in December

****The best news of the day. My dead goal was going to be 500...which I didn't even get to try. So myself and 2 other guys that bombed decided to
attempt our deads in the warmup area anyway!!

After warming up I opened with a 450...no problem. I then just went for it
500....It was freaking easier than the 450!!!!!:) I just went for broke and tried 530....well I smoked it without even yelling :)))))))))))
I was so stoked I think I could have pulled 550 at that moment. So at least some good came from the whole experience.
By the BIG AL....ADD TO MY TOTAL BRO :)))))))))))))

Congrats on that dead - at least you know that training was going right! Sorry about that squat, a bit of a hellish meet for you. Accept those slings and arrows, learn, and get on with the next one!

Already looking ahead to November and December. Going to get my squat in check and try to add 20-30 more pounds to dead and bench
in a 12 week training cycle. Want a 550 dead, 350 bench and at least a
400-425 squat...which I've already done, but need to drop an inch or so lower I suppose.

Congrats with the DL! Sorry about the squat, but I'm sure you're use it as fuel to fire your improved comeback, in a second comp!

a repping weight of 350 :(((((
Problem wasn't weight, just my ability to get to proper depth, missing
depth by a mere inch or so they said..
