Booked in for a hand tattoo tomorrow, whole hand getting done and up onto the wrist so gym work maybe restricted for a couple of days whilst it heals a bit. Might just have to do CV...

No he did it correctly. All bros train chest on Monday so selecting back and legs was a good move.

Every day is biceps day though.

Can always wrap it clingfilm to train and take off straight after? Should be ok...

Tattoo of Hades & Cerburus all done, absolutely stoked with it, sat for 5 hrs in total. Only hurt in a few places. It's ballooned right up today, tight, and a little bit sore. Probably just do cardio over the weekend, maybe a few machines. Picture below.

Just spoke to the receptionist at the Doctors about the X-rays I had done, and she said the Doctor marked them as satisfactory!!

I said what do you mean 'satisfactory', she said I don't think he saw anything in them. I then said how can it be brushed off when I'm taking 2 lots of pain relief, one of which is a heavy duty opiate to supress the pain??

Got another appointment on Monday to speak to him. I can't be on these pills long-term without knowing exactly what is causing the problems. So ****ing frustrating, you can see why people go private.

This is exactly what I told you mate.. he shouldnt be making an assessment as a general practitioner! Those xrays need to be sent with you to an orthopaedic specialist.. and then an MRI is needed too .. if he then says it’s not structural, then it’s a physio issue.

Hope it goes well monday. Don’t be afraid to put him in a headlock. You pay your stamps!

Typical crap NHS :( I think you need to see a private specialist mate just to establish what the root cause it...you need a diagnosis moving forwards.

^^ the NHS has good specialists. They’re not crap at all. Most of the private guys are NHS docs too. A GP cannot make an assessment like that as he’s not a specialist

Depends where you are I guess...I wouldn't trust the NHS with anything if I can help it after what they have done to my mother the past year.

That's why I asked for another immediate appointment mate. I'm going to get him to refer me to a specialist, or I'm going to hold him hostage in my dungeon.

New Treadmill 5km PB on Saturday - Very happy considering my legs felt heavy as hell throughout.

5km - 47:27km - 478kcals

Tattoo is at the scabby stage so it's still quite sore and itchy as fook, the itcyness is driving me insane tbh. I reckon I can blast a few weights out later though.

Went to the Doctors this morning and he said he didn't see any problem in the hip area and believes the root cause of all my pain and discomfort is coming from the spine. I have got an Appointment in April with a SPINE ORTHOPAEDICS specialist, so I should get some insight into the problem. It should also throw some light on the historic problems I've had with my back. Bloody long wait though.

I'll get around you all today / tomorrow.

Got a few weights done last night, fooking busy with gloved up, ILS swag boys..

SEATED MACHINE ROWS:

10 x 60kg
10 x 60kg
10 x 60kg
10 x 60kg

SEATED DEADSTOP OHP:

5 x 40
5 x 50
5 x 55
5 x 60

1 x 75
1 x 82.50 F
2 X 70
2 X 70
2 X 70
2 X 70
2 X 70

Not bad considering I could wear wrist wraps, the 82.5 just didn't feel right without the support of the wraps, so didn't really comitt to it.

PEC DEC:

20 x 50
15 x 55
12 x 60

LEG EXTENSTIONS:

10 x 50
10 x 55
10 x 60
10 x 65

Treadmill Run - Hill Climb - Level 1-5 gradual climb - yomped to Level 6 and then run back to 0 - Run back up to 4 and boinked. Was pretty brutal, but pleased with my endurance.

33:04mins - 3.13km - 431kcals

Nice work mate. Unlucky on the deadstop press. Next time.

Come to think of it, even though I wear wraps for bench, I've never worn them for OHP, never felt the need. Might be worth giving them a try to see if they give me a few more kg's.
