I did a 5pm Friday workout about 13 years ago, it sucked so I changed my friday shift so I could train earlier. The last time I worked a 9-5 was 24 years ago tho so yeah, fair to say I don't see gyms at 6pm+

I love how to change work to suit the gym. You have your priorities in order mate and that's great!

Nice lifting flop hope the hip calms down.

I noted in DV journal that you said you always jab quad. I always read this was generally more painful? Did you chose that way as you can see what you're doing?

I’ve never jabbed anywhere but my quads. They say it’s more painful S there are a lot more nerves running in them but I’ve obky hit a nerve 3 times in all my jabs over the years. And it’s not painful, it’s more like a mild electric shock.

Quads are much easier as it’s right in front of you, no effing about with mirrors and you can relax the muscle completely before jabbing

Yeah. The actual jabbing doesn't hurt any worse than elsewhere. Get a flicker if you tag a nerve but not pain

Be back around to everyone from tomorrow. My fav uncle died last week, iand seeing him in hospital so distressed and confused during his final hours really took it out of me. I have never felt so much sadness, and ended up in a low funk. Slowly snapping out of it, and have smashed a couple of bangers over the weekend.

Catch up with you all tomorrow x

Sorry to hear about your uncle mate.

Good grafting this weekend.

I’ve been thinking about your hip! Have you ever had your running gait analysed? Since I’ve started doing longer treadmill stuff (not as long as you tho) I’m getting major discomfort in my hips the day after which take ages to stretch out.. I’m thinking of going to a running shop which has those computer things that scan your running pattern and see if it’s optimal (they can then try flog me some shoes lol). Just a thought and

I haven't mate, I've thought about it, but it's one of those things I always forget to follow up, and as you say also there's the hard selling of very expensive footwear..lol..

Not sure it would help the hips tbh, It flares up whether I run or not. After my last hill run, they were fine for a couple of days.

They were bad this morning, an absolute joy from about 4am till i got up at 7...

Sorry for the bad news mate.

But nice sessions here. Animals comment above is def worth a look into - and also what part of your foot you walk/run off can have an impact as well

Sorry about your uncle mate. Hope it was at least painless for him with all the family around. It's the best we can really hope for ourselves!
