Haha, I'm a soft southerner. I've even resorted to wearing a pair of converse as I usually train barefoot and my feet felt have started feeling like they're going to fall off!

Good sessions in here mate. Hope your injuries woes get sorted quicktime.

do you not find taking NO-explode so early you get a major crash later on in the day?

Thanks mate. Injury free since October 2014..lol, my shoulder just has impingement issues, stops any heavy benching but everything else is thankfully pretty good.

No crash as yet. The only pre-sup I've ever had problems with was HEMO-RAGE, that stuff was insane during and afterwards. The crash was just horrible. Have you tried it?

5 degrees... Luxury (said in best yorkshiremans accent)... mines about 0-1 atm... I have even taken to wearing track pants ... nice work Deano, you thought of adjusting the flare of your elbows to see if that could help with the shoulder? perhaps bring them in slightly... it would make the lift slightly more tri dominant but may help... or flare them more alternatively... whichever helps more if they help at all

Cheers Daz. You home training dudes must be made of iron!!!

I could try and bring the grip in slightly mate, it's worth a punt. The 90kg I did the other day was fine and I felt nothing. I must have hit a form sweet spot or something as the last 2 sessions have seen the problem creep back in.

I think Ox/Dave had something the other day that blew his face off...lol

Yea, niggles are all part of it, I can cope with them. Last year was a total write off with the foot surgery stopping any training for months on end and then the lower back goes pop on my first powerlfting session back. This year has a good feeling about it though.

Great session mate, the shoulder issues are a common problem as my right one has the same complaint - I'm pushing those final reps largely with strength from the left triceps to compensate.
Having said that, those efforts of yours are nothing to be ashamed of :)

Cheers mate. It's a right PITA but can be worked around. I'll try the DB's, and bringing grip slightly and see how it goes next session.

Lovely session dude apart from shoulder, get on some dislocations/distractions and voodoo work on it and play with grip/elbow flare as Daz says.

Nice pulls too, strong first time back there mate.

Thanks my good man. Yea I'll give the pipe a bash later, that does wonders to loosen it all up.

Really enjoying the pulling, my wife isn't as keen as I near enough promised not to deadlift anymore after that awful back spasm..lol

Good man. The DB presses are what really irritates my shoulder too, almost as much as the shoulder press. Glad you reminded me about those, I forgot to do them the other day!

My guess is, with an impingement, a grip change won't change much on the BB front. DBs may be fruitful as you can follow a very different movement path.

TB DL becomes more akin to a squat (well hack squat) so does make a huge difference on the back as there is no 'forward' pull from the bar. I used to do similar using 2 bars side by side instead.

I find it strange that some times it presents no problem at all. That 90kg the other day was perfect, no feeling of strain or discomfort at all. I'll have a play with grip distance and the DBs. You never know.

I enjoyed the TB DL. Feels good to be lifting from the floor again.

Sore as hell this morning, awoke @ 05:20 and didn't even wait for the alarm. Necked the tabs, gulped the can and off I went.

Treadmill: Run 2.91km @ 25mins.
Cross Trainer: 1.4mile Hill Program @ 20mins.
Stationary Bike: 7.58km Level 5 @ 20mins.
Total Kcals = approx 800

Better than I thought I'd do to be honest. The running is building up very nicely. Only downer being I only lost 1kg in the past week. With the deficit I'm on I thought it's be more, it definitely feels like I've lost more, very strange.

1kg is 2.2lbs... Don't be so hard on yourself mate, it's still a loss and it's still a lot! You're all over it like a cheap suit! Keep it up!

Did the pre workout give you much in the end? No sides?

We are all greedy mate, so when I post up about being angry about only 0.5kg loss at some point, you have permission to bitch slap me down lol.

Good about the pre workout then, I'm glad you didn't have an eruption like me lol
