I've got telewest. No idea what it costs tbh. I've got a 4meg connection, phone and the tv package with all the channels (only cus the little un can't live without Nick Jr and the rest of the cr@p)

I've not really had any probs. Internet rarely down, perhaps twice in the last year and only for half a day or so.

t.v. rarely down. Had an issue recently where I needed an engineer. Had to wait 3 days but he seemed competant and diagnosed & fixed the problem (connecter fault) quickly.

Installation was good too. Did a neat job.

i had telewest when i lived in westcliff and the service was ok, but the broadband was only256kb, so technically it was midband. still not bad for £30pm

I work for telewest and the service is quite good. Our TV is not as good as sky's but for 30 quid it's not bad. We have just bought virgin mobile so will be doing TV + Broadband + Land Line + Mobile hone deals soon. All under the virgin brand so might be worth waiting for those deals.

have telewest tv / phone / broadband here

no problems in 6 months, except the recent outage a couple of sundays ago - had no service for 10 hours - this was apparently due to deliberate targeted vandalism though, so it's not really their fault

    dead cheap too

    id recommend it

I had had Telewest now for over 3-4 years now started off with tripple play: cable phone, tv and broadband, got rid of cable tv as I wasn't using it and left the phone and internet, have had no major issues at all appart from that I had once a major downtime for most of the night, happened while I was playing a game. Now I'm on 10meg line ugraded for free from 1meg and happy.

Why do some of you reckon Telewest's not quite as good as Sky + ? Do you mean TV picture quality? I've been told on a really rainy day Sky TV's does degrade a bit.

    Cheers
