TRT Clinic

So this TRT clinic opts to give this as a weekly dose.

Test C 250mg/wk
HCG 500IU/wk
Arimidex 1mg/wk

I would think the Arimidex 1mg/wk would give me a roller coaster effect. Anyone else try taking it just once a week?

If you're also taking the test and HCG in one weekly shot then it's all gonna hit you mostly in the first few days. When the arimidex is going down so is the test.

That said I don't know of any TRT clinics putting people on 250mg per week.

I have seen it first hand. It is a part time job I do. And I can't say from my experience wouldn't you feel like crap taking this?

Presumably that stack is arrived at after individual blood tests and tracking hormone levels.

If not, 1mg arimidex is pushing it, IMO - that would have my beta-estradiol level below the normal physiological range by quite some margin - would be feeling like utter crap on that much arimidex.

Is that a clinic ove here Medic?
I got told last week by my endo that 250mg of test E every 2 weeks was too high a dose. Then the hcg and arimidex theres no way the nhs would prescribe any of those, not for me anyway.

Transient changes in steroid levels aren't that significant. It can take weeks on supra-physiological levels of testosterone to notice any change at all, and TRT protocols often have people taking shots of sustanon or test E every other week. By the time of their next jab their testosterone levels have plummeted already, and yet people still still feel better than they did on their own testosterone (which never dropped that low, but the mean level was much lower).

Jabing all at once can cause sharp peaks in hormone levels and associated sides, but that's mostly a concern with proper cycle doses. 1 gram of test E at once will give you sides for sure, 250mg not really.

It is in the states. The dose of 250mg/wk keeps most men so far around 800ng/dl. Not everyone gets the arimidex and hcg but a lot of them do.

Those 800ng/dl are taken when, 4-6 days post injection? In the first 2-3 days 250mg should put most people well over 1000ng/dl. 250mg of test per week isn't really TRT, even if they want to call it that. Now I'm sure the patients love it of course, just as people love doing steroids! After all 250mg is a low cycle dose, lots of people start with that and make good gains.

If you ever need arimidex at all that's pretty much a giveaway that you're using too much test to call it a "replacement" dose.

The labs are drawn 7 days after injection. We draw them prior to that weeks injection. And they are looking to stay under 1100ng/dl. Most they want around 700ish. I agree with you. I am just the guy that gets paid to stab these guys. None of them complain about mood swings or such with the 1mg/wk of adex. Not sure they know what they are looking for. I just know myself I would be moody as hell.

Did I read on here that you are on TRT yourself Medic? Interested to know your feelings on ideal dosage given you are in the business so to speak lol
Also I know the States have different thoughts on using HCG along side TRT compared to the UK. Do you think it is necessary?

Well for ideal dosage per the clinic it is based on monthly blood draws. Usually trying to keep around 7-800ng/dl a few clients are seeking the 1100 top range. They also are running hcg with the trt to keep testicular atrophy to a minimum along side with LH up. They give 1mg adex/wk. The hcg will be 250-500IU/wk for 6 weeks then off for 4wks.

Agree, 250mg per week is well above 'replacement' in reality most people would see levels in the mid to top end of the 'normal range' from as little as 75mg-150mg a week. 800ng/dl are likely a trough level before the next shot is administered

As for Adex it is likely a personal case by case response, some people likely don't need an AI at that dose but others will get E2 related sides which is why blood testing should be conducted to work out for sure.

America is obviously very different to the UK infact they are on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to dishing out hormone related meds. I've never heard of anybody in the UK getting AI or HCG, the standard replacement protocol is usually Gel, sus (250mg every 3 weeks) or Nebido.

The TRT clinic I was going to was totally clueless to HCG and AI's!  Now, my PCP doctor has made an appointment to go back to the same clueless clinic next month.  I'm going to make sure that I bring up HCG and AI's even if I have to carry a note in my pocket!
