If you have 2 or 3 blood tests done by the endocrinologist and they all show low testosterone, you shouldn't have any trouble being prescribed TRT.

They normally start you on a low dose of testosterone gel and go from there.

I'm on TRT from the nhs. If you are in there being legit, then they won't mind giving it to you.

On the NHS anything below 8 nmol/L TRT is recommended. Anything below 12 nmol/L TRT will be considered based on the amount of free test you have in your system.

I did say that to my doctor and they didn’t seem to even care about the bssd guideline Or anything .......said it’s mostly just a life style thing and that maybe going gym 4-5 times a week will lower my test ..

Most GP's and endo's in the NHS are utterly clueless when it comes to hormone replacement therapy. 8 nmol/L of test is what you'd expect an 75 year old to have. TRT usually helps with depression.

thanks for the reply... yea iv been looking around and a lot of people are saying this... it makes no sense if I go gym to better my life that they say it’s the reason my test is low... but I’m going to see the endo next week so I will keep reply back with what they say .... if they just throw me away I honestly think I will want to self med if that’s possible? I don’t think trt is just testosteone alone ? I may be wrong but if anyone does it please couldn’t you give me a insight for future ( again I don’t want to cycle or abuse any steroids I just want to feel normal and heathy and just not like **** 24 hours a day ) thanks alot

TRT is just testosterone, usually cypionate, nebido or enanthate for injection or testosterone gel. Some also supplement with HCG to stay fertile and keep their balls full. Testosterone doses are tiny compared to a typical testosterone cycle though (if there is such a thing).

i've posted here before but my natural test production was tested at being less than 2nnmol (highest being 3.4nnmol) and my endo had no hesitation on getting started. A different one has subsequently stopped me for sperm preservation and i'm currently crashing back down to crazy town with regards to low test.

the 'come down' from it was horrible.
