Tesco Energy Extra

Hi,

I got for my EC stack Tesco Energy Extra for caffeine. Each tablet contains 50mg of caffeine, BUT also dextrose mono 130g (glucose). Since im cutting, would this affect my fat loss. Im also on Keto and would the glucose kick me out of ketosis?

thnx

raj

Is that 130g or 130mg per tablet / serving mate?

130g per serving will certinaly bugger your ketogenic diet up. 130mg shouldn't cause two many problems as it will only add a couple of grams carbs to your diet each day.

However for future reference you would have been much better off picking up pure caffeine from here

call me pedantic but especially when on a cut and reading lables for sources of sugars, 130mg per 50mg caffeine would bother me. You'll be taking 4 of those each serving of EC = 520mg, twice or thrice a day = 1,5g of sugar a day which otherwise would not be necessary.

    you're right of course.

But it would still bother me because there are plenty of areas where only a "little" sugar is involved, and they all add up.... i.e. tomato ketchup (of course the one with 50% less sugar)

I think the fact worrying about such a little thing would infact raise your metabolism by 0.0000000000000000001% and burn those few extra cals.
