After a bit research extra virgin olive oil is the way to go :) (Good fats) gonna add a couple of tablespoons here and there to help the bulk.

As for the diet it seems to be keeping me regular and doesn't give me any CD side affects because there isn't any gluten in my diet, no bloat, lethargy or runs, im going to give it a few strict weeks and try and add some eggs or milk back into the equation.

Done shoulders today, changed a few exercises about, good workout overall. Got a cool app for my Iphone to track workouts called gymgoal. Going to try and get the results compiled so I can post them straight onto my journal :o) Wish me luck!

Used gymgoal for a while now - good app

Do you find it crashes if you when in exercises and click on the arrow at the end of line to open the exercise up on some items?

Only used it in the gym once and it was fine. Have you got the full version? Up to date?

Weighed again today 10st 2 1/2. Lost 1/4 lb, a bit disheartened I haven't gained any more but training and diet going well so still happy. Ill give it a couple more weeks and see what happens and make adjustments accordingly.

Done legs today, hit all of my reps on every set of every exercise so next session Ill be upping the weight. Legs are absolutely done in so not looking forward to next session lol. Also took abs away from legs day, they are still aching from Monday, just keeping them for shoulder days for the time being.

Chest and arms today. Upped the weights on a few sets, the iphone app is keeping me in check, would recommend it to anyone. Only thing i managed the max reps on was the db arm curls so will up the weights next time out.  Feeling good and stronger and lets see what the next few weeks hold :o)

Done back tonight, didn't quite manage a full routine, felt a twinge in my abs whilst deadlifting. Managed to get the full 8 reps out for 2 sets on the deadlift with an extra 4kg on, will try for the 3 sets next time out. Upped the shrugs too by an extra 2.5kg each side, struggling a bit with grip, might try and use the smith machine and see if this helps.

Training and eating for about 6 weeks now, over the next few days im going to get some pictures up, the current diet and routine with weights and use it as a starting point for the following months, years :o)

Been a bit off the past couple of days so draining and diet hasn't been too great. Managed a full diet today though so back at it, also trained chest and arms, just realized ive missed my shoulders and legs day will mix it up a bit:

Incline Bench Press  8x30 8x30 8x30(+2rep)
DB Bench Press 10x22.5(+2.5kg) 10x22.5(+2.5kg) 10x22.5
Bent Over Cable Flys 8x35(+5kg) 8x35(+5kg)8x35(+5kg)
CGBP 12x20 12x20(+3rep) 10x20(+2rep)
DB Arm Curls 9x16(+2kg -3rep) 10x16(+2kg -2rep) 9x16(+2kg -3rep)

Overall happy with the progress, when its down in black and white its nice to see. Incline press up to 35kg mebys next time, Im going to keep the rest the same as form isn't too great.

Regards

On a diet note by the process of elimination the buckwheat flakes have to go, there making me lethargic as hell after my morning shake, will do a bit research on what other carb source I can use instead. Will also try and get a weight up by the end of the week :o)

Regards

10st 7 3/4lbs this morning folks, thats 9 1/4 lbs in 10 weeks and 2 days. Gains were quick at the start but have slowed a little, not too concerned tho. Chucked some porridge in with the morning shake today instead of the buckwheat, feelin OK for the moment, give it a few hours :o) Gonna train me shoulders and abs before work today so Ill post the weights up tonight.

Rice pudding and scrambled eggs is the dogs dangleys for breakfast haha on a plus note no lethargy after eating it, strange :) Diet coming together nicely, adding weight at a nice steady pace and lifting is going up too. Done chest and arms yesterday:

Incline Bench Press  6x32.5(+2.5kg -2reps) 4x32.5(+2.5kg -4reps) 5x32.5(+2.5kg -3reps)
DB Bench Press 10x25(+2.5kg) 9x25(+2.5kg -1rep) 9x25 (-1rep)
Bent Over Cable Flys 8x35 8x35 5x40(+5kg -3reps)
CGBP 12x20 9x25(+5kg -3reps) 9x25(+5kg -3reps)
DB Arm Curls 10x16(+1rep) 9x16(-1rep) 9x16

Complicated stuff lol just keeping a record for reference. Getting some terrible doms at the moment, I think its probably my irregular training days, new car the weekend hopefully so will be more constant with the days at the gym :o) Bring on the deadlifts!!

Back and traps yesterday. Just about to hit a wall with the deadlifts, really struggled with the upped weights, think i even felt a bit poo come out hahaha!! Diet is awesome at the moment, enjoying eating,  gaining at a steady rate and not too much fat from what I can tell. A few good comments from people aswell, always makes it worth while but the road is long, patience young jedi :)

Deadlifts 8x77.5(+2.5g) 8x77.5(+2.5g) 8x77.5(+2.5g)
Pulldowns 10x105 10x105 10x105(+1rep)
Bent Over DB Rows  10x25(+2.5kg) 10x25(+2.5kg) 10x25(+2.5kg)
Shrugs 12x37.5(+2.5kg) 12x37.5(+2.5kg) 12x37.5(+2.5kg)
Bent Over Rows Smith Machine (Missed today due to time)
Cable Rows 12x110 12x110 10x110(+2reps)

Gonna try deadlifts at 80kg next time, pulldowns 110kg, BODB rows at 27.5kg, gonna try using smith machine to shrug as grip is an issue and I might try and pin up 15kg on the cable rows

Got some rows for you today Hahaha
