I have always believed in squatting hard and heavy,  but I have to admit I am no longer sure its something I'd preach, as every 6 months or so I hear of *yet another* formerly heavily squatter having their patella's disintegrate and subsequently have to have their kneecap retrieved from wherever it pinged to, and reconstructed with wire!

Always seems to happen when they are doing trivial tasks too,  like they'll stumble on a kerb or something rather than squatting 300kg.

Lazy is a word used by the obsessed, to describe those with a life.

The full Platz video is actually a really good watch.

Hes mad about squatting and training legs in general.

Lol....This's  so true, that's why I now keep my squatting to 160 or below, squat for double figure reps n not weight.....squatting would be a hard drug to give up imho.
