Hi Guys
As this was my come to place many years ago i thought this would be the best place to start,
after a heavy 5 years (feels like 1 lol) i have looked in the mirror and realized i have let me self go majorly no help to my own career change from the fitness/leisure industry (10+years) to an office job all i do now is lift coffee and crunch numbers lol. Lose the fat first and see where you stand. You'll look better lean with less muscle than fat with more muscle.

Good luck pal.

Start with making some changes to your daily food intake and understanding what is going into your body. Start tracking what you eat and it will allow you to have better control over your body composition.

I chose to cut to see what was underneath, then you can see what you have to work with, if you have a smart phone get the My Fitness Pal App, put your details and goals in then log everything you consume, it will tell you cals and macros required to fulfill your goals and it adjusts cals when you enter a new body weight.
Beg, borrow or steal a set of dumbbells, you can work most if not all body parts with those.
Cardio is optional.. I haven't done any cardio so far and have managed to lose 66lb in around 10 months,

If you haven't trained for 5 years you should be able to make significant improvements in the 5 months.  Your body should respond rapidly to an exercise programme and diet.

I would simply up the protein, reduce the carbs and do a full body strength workout 3 times a week, with off days spent minimal carbs and steady state cardio (take rest days when needed).  A gym would be the best option as you would grow pretty quick with heavy compound moves.
