The Jack LaLanne Juicer?

Has anybody seen the infomercial for this thing? Basically you throw a fruit or veggie in it and it spits it out in drink form, almost instantly. Not that I am anxious to drink a potato or a pepper or something, but I like the concept of holding my nose and quickly chugging a nasty drink as opposed to having to cook and slowly chew something you rarely get hungry for.

I am kinda intrigued by this because I skip out on veggies more than I should and this would be an easy way to get the recommended amount.

I suppose this isn't much different from just using a blender... has anybody tried that? It's definitely cheaper

haven't seen the infomerical you're talking about. i've got a kenwood juicer, it extracts juice and enzymes from the fruit and veggies but leaves behind the fibre. carrot and apple is the only veg/fruit combination i like. most veggies taste nasty to me when juiced - celery, beeroot - yuck. imo its better to eat the whole veg so you can get the fibre too. its also a bitch to wash up afterwards.

yeah i have seen that cheese advert. Oh my god. But its does look pretty good. I also like the idea if chugging a veggies juice, saves effort.
