The Kevin Bishop Show

Has anyone watched this, watched it for the first time last night with a mate and realised this was supposed to be making me laugh, but just nothing, zero, a complete waste of time....did I miss somthing here or what?

Should say i've seen older ones for like 5mins worth, never watched a whole one...though id give it another go seeing as it on a 3rd series I Think.

I recall watching it in some disbelief the first time round. Abysmal.

Was this the thing that was on after Big Brother last night, I watched a bit and did not know what it was, I take it it was meant to be a comedy.

    Absoloute tosh!

One of the worst things ever broadcast. A sad reflection of the state of modern comedy.

    Its utter trash.

Channel4 on a Friday night used to be awesome. Frasier, Spaced, Phoenix Nights, Peep Show etc. over the years.

    Been pretty dire of late.

I didn't watch, but expected it to be good, he was good in star stories.

I wish I was more attractive like Dagless.

The guy is a friend of a friend. Apparently he is actually a good guy but his success seems to be disproportionate to his talent.

The people making these programs/choosing them to be on TV must be pretty out of touch with reality..

Today's PC obsession with not offending anyone is making life impossible for comedians. The mainstay of a stand up's routine were jokes about the Irish, black's,Paki's and so on.Can't do them anymore

Never seen this fella so can't comment on it.

    This

Only good thing that comes to mind of a similar vain that's any good  on Channel 4 is The Inbetweeners.

In Betweeners is OK, but it is not on the same level as Peep Show!

Used to be accepted by everyone mate.It was just a joke.Been to stand up nights years back when they would have a pop at the blacks in the audience. They took it in good humour. They knew they would be a target when they went in.

Seen a couple of the comedians shake hands with the black victims after the show.It was not malicious.

Inbetweeners is decent, prob not good enough for Friday night slot.

To give em credit, I forgot about Plus One that was on months back.

That had me actually LOL'ing most episodes.
