Ox A solid start to your new sessions there Wolfy, i like it.
Thanks dude. On paper it doesn't look so bad, but in practice it's done me in. The overall winner hopefully will not only be following the plan and getting some volume in, but also a different variety of work from the accessories. I have changed the plan from the original, the accessories being the main culprit. So come the next cycle, I'll run the plan as designed and see how I go. My attitude before was, if I just work on the main lift and do it well, I'll be fine. Now it's if I hammer some volume on the main lifts and then do some additional work in the form of accessories, it can only help more.

I think focussing solely on the main lift works pretty well for a while but you're hitting some pretty big numbers now bud, I'm sure a bit more accessory work to fix any weaknesses will pay off big time.
Looking forward to seeing the results!

Thanks guys.
I'm off to squat now, feeling tired and not enough sleep... I got up late after finger blasting my alarm several times and snoozing like a sloth. Caffeine in and a long warm up is on the cards.
Let's roll, wooooooooo!

Sorry DV, I'm currently laying on a hotel bed in deal, in Kent. Going to a friends of my partners 30 birthday party.
Brief update as I'm waiting for the missus to get out the shower.
Squats today were good, all moved smoothly.
Top set was a Beltless 187.5kg X 5
Volume work after that was 165kg X 5 for 4 sets
Accessories today were front foot elevated split squats... 8 reps each leg for 3 sets. These were harder than the back squats.
Have a good weekend all.

Cheers mate, you too. Just got back to the hotel, kids out cold, missus drink and I'm stone cold sober starving hungry. I drove back from the venue to hotel and not one fast food establishment in sight. I'm furious. The front foot elevated really hit the hip flexors which for me are always an issue. With this new regime I need to keep on top of my super tight hip flexors to stay injury free. Shamefully I'm so tight that just body weight is enough to reduce me to tears.

Indeed, I drove through Dover on my way and was surprised just how quiet it was... Deal was dead, I don't know what I was expecting but it was like a ghost town. Lovely scenery though and beach was nice :)

Just about to start toying with rear foot elevated squats, tried some body weight the other night, god knows what it will be like after doing 5x5 on back squats.

Morning all. Sadly I've been up since 4 as my little boy decided that 4 was a good time to start his day... Little turd. The missus was on a nightshift so I took him downstairs to watch Thomas the tank engine in the hope that I could have a nap on the sofa... No such luck as every time I nodded off he would smack me in the face. So today my current mood is a little bit cranky to say the least. I feel drained today though, physically mainly, but mentally I feel like I need a rest. Works already annoying me this year and I can feel myself slipping into my old habits of "IdontGiveA****Mode". Currently doing 2 peoples jobs for 1 persons salary and despite my requests for a pay rise, it keeps going on the back burner. Yesterday mornings session was a tough one, more on the grounds that I was tired and beaten up going in. 600mg of caffeine and a ton of amino acids and I rolled in like a fat marble and got my work done. Front squats Warm ups bar x 5 60kg x 5 90kg x 5 115 x 4 130g x 2 Working sets 145kg x 4 130kg x 5 x 4 sets Axle push press warm ups 20kg x 5 40kg x 5 60kg x 4 75kg x 3 85kg x 2 Working sets 95kg x 4 85kg x 5 x 4 sets Accessories Face pulls and tricep fluff Goodnight sweet prince! Fronts were ok once I got warmed up the 145 felt ok... The volume sets however were a little tougher just from fatigue. The axle moved ok though, but I was just knackered at this point. I need sleep... And a pizza.

Great squatting and 95kg overhead for reps. Good session!
My little girl decided it was time to get up at 3am the other day, took bloody ages to convince her it was still the middle of the night lol. Bless 'em
