No chance. United will win and quite convincingly I think.

Found it funny again this morning. Interviewing Chelsea fans outside the ground. 3 Irish and 1 American

I know Man Utd are the same mate but it is sad seeing a good old fashioned club going the same way

I believe that Chelsea could do it, it is Uniteds to lose, but 1 game (90 minutes) anything could happen, I would not be surprised if Chelsea did it, but I expect United to pinch it.

Anyone see what Grant said about he thinks it should be the same as in Italy when two teams finish on equal points they have a match to determine the winner.

I agree with this, what does anyone else think? - all the United fans will diagree lol

I'm a Liverpool supporter - I think Man utd will probably snatch it today but don't be suprised if they don't, and Chelsea will win the Champions League.

I can't think of the words I'm looking for to describe this statement sort of incorporates all eventualities

I'd be very, very surprised if United didn't walk it today

Could end up very unfair that. The team with the higher GD may have a **** load of injuries at the end of the season

I just think that alot of people would be shocked/suprised if United don't do it, but its one game and they could easily slip up.

As for a play off to decide the champion if they both draw on points, and ignore goal difference, I just personally prefer this as I think it should be what the teams do head to head, maybe they could do what they do in the champions league group stages and do it on head to heads?

From a neutral fans perspective, I think most would like to see Chelsea do it, I may be wrong though! lol

utd nerves, bruce wanting to show fergie his manegerial skills, couple of wigan players apparently wanted by Utd so will want to put on a bit of a show, ****ty pitch

wont be a walk over unless Utd get an early one. Hopefully wigan score first, make it more exciting.

I think both teams will win, but with a twist or two along the way.

Certainly think Utd deserve to win it and hope they do just so I actually have a sex life from now until the CL final, don`t think I could cope with them losing both, my life would be hell .

I fancy united to beat wigan, although it should be quite tough as wigan are in good form.

As for the play-off idea well Grant would be mentioning that as hes clearly alot of goals behind,i do wonder would Grant be mentioning this if it were the other way around.....mmmmm.

The rules are the rules im afraid, but if the FA decide to change it next year then so be it.

erm - if it was done as a head to head thing utd would win as they beat chelski 2-0 at old trafford and chelski won 2-1 at the bridge

but i agree with the play off thing - still if the title finishes with both on the same points we can consider the champions league final as the playoff - winner takes all - lol

I think we should mention in this thread who might be going down,i do hope Fulham survive but i think they will go down along with Reading, although its a tight decision.

Really hard to say who will go down.As they could easily all get results.

Just to go against some of the namby-pamby fence-sitting every-angle-covered posts on this thread, I'm stating that United will beat Wigan.

    Fact.
