The Race Is On! New plans for Joe-Pg 29

Time to get serious! After quite a few months of 'pratting about' with Diets and Routines, i have finally got them both nailed, for the time being anyway.

Me and JonnyWildBoar will both be posting in this Journal as we have roughly the same Stats and are looking at a 'Race Bulk Competition'

My current Stats are (after 8 months proper training)

Age - 20
Height - 6ft
Weight - 14st 7
Arms - R: 14.9" L:15"
Chest - 42"
Shoulders - 49"
Quads - 23"
Calves - 16"
BF% - Roughly between 15-18% i think.

My diet is usually between 3500 and 4000 Cals a day and between 250 and 300g of Protien. Only just started this 'proper' bulking diet 2 months ago really.

I am just going to keep the updates as simple as i can. I dont think i am going to bother putting a daily Diet plan in as my Diet is roughly the same day after day.

My 'usual' daily diet when im at work is as follows,

7:00 - 20g Whey in Water and 5g CEE
8:00 - 6 Egg Whites and 3 Yolks Scrambled, 100g Oats with Skimmed Milk

11:00 - Home-made Weight Gainer 100g Oats, 50g Whey and maybe some Peanut Butter too mixed with either Milk or Water.

14:00 - Tin of Tuna, 4 slices of Wholemeal Bread, 400g of mixed Fruit and maybe a pint of Milk

17:00 - Home-made Weight Gainer (as above)

19:00 - Pre-workout - 20g Whey in Water and 2 Bananas

20:00 - Pwo - 60g Maltodextrin, 40g Whey in Water

21:00 - Ppwo - 200g Chicken Breasts with 100g Wholemeal Pasta and Olive Oil

23:30 - 300g Cottage Cheese and random amounts of assorted Nuts.

As for a Routine, i will be doing the following.

Monday - Back and Delts

Thursday - Chest, Traps and Arms

Friday - Legs and Abs

It probably would make more sense doing a Wednesday in place of a Thursday but i have my own reasons for this and is causing no problems for me.

My aim is to acheive 16" Arms before Christmas time, the rest of my Stats should hopefully stay in proportion with my Arms, its just an easier target than individual Muscle group estimates. (if you catch my drift)

Good luck Jonny.

On your marks....Get set....Go!

I will know I am back on top form when i can rep with 160k deadlift.....which will be a while off me thinks, but who knows.

SBD are you gonna do any thickbar stuff ?

As far as I can tell it's all better. Still the tight hamstrings, but all in all good. Cracked it in American football, took a helmet right to the lower back.

    Today-
    Squats- 3x6 @ 140 lbs +5
    SLDL- 3x8 @ 70 lbs + 10
    Side Bends- 3x10 @ 30 lbs +5
    Hanging Leg Raises-1x8

Note- Still going easy on anything that might hurt my back. I felt if I did a more shoulder width stance squats feel easier on my back. On the leg raises I stopped because my back was clicking. Didn't hurt, but it kind of scared me. No harm done. I might go ahead and lift tomorrow too as I feel good to go.

Thickbar, not sure. I wan't to, but w/o access to one in the gym, not quite sure how I would work it out doing it at home...but don't rule it out.

Just thought i would pst a couple of pictures up, for my own benefit really. Hopefully by Christmas i will look noticably different in size. Arms need to catch up a bit with my Shoulders i think, but im just concentrating on building mass, none of that lagging Muscle sh1te yet to worry about.
