The low road back

well ppl its my first time back to this geart web site in a few years been away and its just time my life has changed away from my old powerlifting days, sounds like am a old man (only 25) he he but life has changed my path from me sleeping and breathing p/lifting hurt myself pritty bad in 2001 right before i was prepering for my 3rd british championships this time at 100kg bodyweight instead of my light 82 1/2kg, ruptured disc in lower back leg pressing silly weights like ya do when your young and keen, but got set up a we business selling suppliments here in N.I and is going great, thing is dont even miss the p/ling now lost intrest big time (NEVER 3 or 4 YEARS AGO WOULD I HAVE THOUGHT ID SAY THAT) though back then you know like every one wants to be the world champ he he now am good free of injury and doing alot of fitness cut the weights out totally in conjuction with kick boxing, got the feel for it when was out in the land of Thai he he, but am doing some coaching at time with some P/Lers in my loacl club and have a guy who i help in strong man who is coming on now here in N.I, its weird that helping and seeing others do well gives me the same buzz when i was up on stage giving it millions AHHHHHHH come on this is light....think in a year or so ill get back again into the p/lifting game but its so good to see that guys here or trying to get this strongman thing off its roots, thinkin give it another 5 years and it will be massive and more popular in the future something to invest in i think especially with sky sports and other TV stuff chsowing it on christmas time etc. if the guys at the top of the organisations get there A-Game on things will take off, its all about getting the intrest and making things exciting for the crowds, seen a few shows and they were too long. but hey strongman here in the UK is in its infinte stages looking forward to next Gen of strongmen like the young USA team! Its great when there or show men (and woman) who play up to the crowds.
