ThermoLife Pump-Bol - Citrus Rush

Pump-Bol

Firstly, I find it hard to isolate and attribute factors which contribute to a successful workout. There are so many variables that change from day to day. (To name a few; sleep, diet, time of workout.) These are arguably impossible to keep consistent, thus it’s ambiguous where to attribute credit when you have a particularly successful workout. Therefore I find writing a review after one or two servings to be inappropriate. This has allowed me the opportunity to experience it for all muscle groups, while repeating some.

Mixability- It mixes pretty much effortlessly, didn’t even use a shaker.

Dose- How many scoops!? I actually used one, I found this to be optimum for me (I consider myself highly susceptible to pre w/o supplements- so using one is my norm). On using two scoops, I felt over pumped which was slightly numbing and had a detrimental effect on the rest of my workout.

Taste- Initially I mixed it with a minimalistic amount of water, which is just habit for me, personally prefer less liquid with higher concentration, however this left a somewhat undesirable aftertaste. This didn’t really phase me and left to my own devices I would of likely maintained use in this manner, however for the benefit of the review I followed the “recommended” amount of water, which I have to say was genuinely quite enjoyable but didn’t completely eliminate the aftertaste.

Physical effects- I was noticeably a lot more pumped which in itself gives you a psychological edge if nothing else. However this wasn’t just the case, I persisted to achieve two personal bests last week. For the first time I managed three sets of 8 dips with +35kg (Weight belt), which is a 5kg increase (Bare in mind I weigh 65kg). Anyway I won’t bore you with any other personal information but I just wanted to use this as an example of something I feel Pump-Bol contributed towards. My increased vascularity was reflective in not only the primary muscle group I was working, but also apparent in the subliminal muscle groups where be it impossible to isolate a singular muscle.

However, something I fell warrants addressing, 8 hour pumps? This certainly didn’t happen for me, from leaving the gym the pump naturally diluted within about 2-3 hours, I feel these claims are unnecessary and devalue what is an effective and successful product.

Mental effects/focus- I am usually quite naturally focused in the gym irregardless of any pre workout supplements. The retrospective week was no different, even with well established pre workout supplements I find it hard to differentiate between levels of focus on days I don’t take anything.

Concluding- Ultimately from my experience, I can conclude its undisputedly effective and therefore definitely a successful product in my eyes, despite its lack of stimulants. I will continue to add my thoughts and feelings through the entirety of this product if there’s anything I feel beneficial to add.

Lastly, I found the colour pretty immense.
