    I use them now and again, but i tend to use them at the end of a set(like a superset).

    But it's like any shocking method, i use them sparingly. So once i have used them for a week or so i move onto something else. But worth doing.

    Try doing the opposite with a weight, which is called fascia stretching. It's the opposite to a static contraction.
