Tito back in the UFC

Anyone got any thoughts on Dana White re-signing him. There is no details on how many fights he is signed to or his first outing.

Dont understand this myself, he hasnt been his best since the beating from Liddell in 2004. I'm guessing it makes business sense to Dana as Tito is a big PPV draw and a return in a big fight would sell big ppv numbers

It will be interesting to see him fight again, be interesting to see who Dana matches him up with too. He might want him to get owned seeming they had a 'big' fall out. lol

He's hardly one for the future, 34 now I think. I can't see him fighting at the top level for long if he does re-enter the octagon.

    Dana White is  a prick.
He stops Ortiz from fighting for other organisations via a claus in his contract yet won't give him a fight in the UFC while he was in his prime.
Now that his contract has expired and he's free to fight for whoever he wishes White rushes to get him back into the UFC
because he doesn't want any other organisations to have him.
If I was Ortiz i'd tell him to fu,ck off and go fight for Affliction or AFL

Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential.

Welsh Matt, Affliction is now defunct and not sure AFL would pay Tito the kind of money. Strikeforce, UFC or Dream  only guys who can afford him

well were starting to get a league fighters coming to the end of their career, the likes of chuck, tito, randy, wanderlei, hendo, coleman, just let them fight it out they will probably never be champions anymore but they will still put up awesome fights :)

I don't see why everyone seems to be writing tito off just yet. IMO he didn't put up too bad a display against Machida. Injury free , I think he's still got some decent fights left in him.

Dana White said shortly after it that he overreacted and regretted doing this as Babalu is on of the best in the world. I think Tito could still be very relevant if as he says his back is now 100%, even before that he only lost to guys at the very top of MMA.

Have to agree. Tito did well againest Machida and overall looked to be in pretty good nick when he last fought. think he still does have more in his tank. Since that fight  Machida has become more aggresive.
