Nope. Can overhand 140 and can't power clean 100 yet so not really needed atm.

The hook will take you where you want to go. Trust the hook.

Shallow squats are shallow (edit: not actually that bad but could do with going a little deeper) but strong workout nonetheless.

I had to quit doing powercleans because my gym won't let me drop the bar and it was really starting to **** my back up trying to put it down when the weights are heavy.

No way! Perfect PL depth. There is no question on depth with those squats. He is not Oly squatting remember.

Fair enough, didn't mean to take anything away from the guy anyway - very strong session.

I can squat 140kg ATG but I may start trying to PL depth squats and see how far I can take them.

You will find it won't add a huge amount. This is certainly my experience anyway, there is a far greater difference in difficulty between squatting high and squatting to below parallel than there is between squatting to below parallel and squatting ass to the grass, it is that point at which you descend into the hole between your hips that activates all the posterior chain, and going further than that will add only marginal difficulty and, in some cases depending on the technique of the lifter, going ass to the grass will actually enable them to squat more due to the explosive momentum out of the hole (ie. the way weightlifters do).
