Too much exercise on a cut?

At present I’m seeking to lose approximately another 2 stone in fat but keep the muscle I’ve put on through weight training. I’ve only recently started taking diet, exercise and cardio seriously and as such recognise I need to cut about 2 stone.
I’m on about 280+ grams of protein epr day and around 2400 calories.
What I want to now is if it’s ok for me to be doing 45 minutes of cardio some days immediately followed by (or shortly afterwards) 45 minutes of weight training. I don’t want to lose any gains by ver doing it, so should I stick to alternating one each day or can I do the lot?
Regards,

Do any cardio after weight. Personally I'd limit it to about 30mins gentle cardio on weights days and then maybe 45mins on non weight days. Everyone is different and you may find you are able to do more time whilst still feeling OK. If you get the symptoms of hypoglycemia then you have done too much.

Yeh good advise from Paul mate.

If you can also, you could split the two forms of activity up (aerobic and anaerobic).

Do light cardio first thing on a morning at a low intensity.

Its frustrating but I am unable to do any cardio on a weekday morning as I have a 2 year old daughter. Its unfortunately in the evening or nothing :/
My cv is either an elliptical machine or a cycle of an evening before my weights session. Where possible I’ll try to swap around and go cardio afterwards, but as far as fat loss vs muscle loss goes, its ok for me to do both?

I appreciate your help again guys.

do weights before cardio, have some whey protein in water after the weights then go do the cardio.

if you do cardio alone, no weights, in the evening have a mainly protein and fat meal beforehand (2hrs) with limited carbs and then do your cardio session to aid fat burning further.

cardio in the evening is absolutly fine. Its all about shifting cals and more importantly cals from fat and not muscle so choose a low intensity.

Keep your diet tight and do cardio as much as pos, everyday if you can and you should see some nice results. I find adding regular cardio is liking opening up the throttle in terms of fat loss.
