Monday Squats

Current status:-

Lethargy like I have never felt before, trensomnia, I'm hot and sweaty, I'm like a dog with 2 dicks and I've got test/tren flu and generally feel like sh1t. Started my taurine at 5g a day and this seems to have kept back pumps to a minimal level.

On the plus side strength is immense, bar almost feels empty at times, I'm up 3kg most of which will be water but there are some changes, I'm now the heaviest I have ever been at just under 110kg and also the leanest I have ever been at this sort of weight.

Last night in the gym was awful, so tired and it must have been 30C in there. I'm ready to go again from a muscular recover point of view within a few minutes but in that heat and the fact Tren has already killed what cardio capacity I did have I was really struggling to recover between sets. Ground out the session though.

Got some melatonin tablets yesterday to try and help me get off to sleep, seemed to work well and feel much better today.

The way things are going all my current weight rep PB's will all fall in the next 3 weeks and I still have 7-8 weeks of the cycle left.

Sounds like you're having a fun time with it all, at least it was just sqauts

I think everyone on gear needs to attend a group Skype call so we can all plan out our blasts to coincide together! I'm jelly just listening to your sides lol!

Ha, sounds like a plan.

Sides seem to be subsiding a little. Guessing most of it was an initial reaction to the extra gear. Trensomnia is still there but at a manageable level, lethargy is not too bad, back pumps are in check with taurine so all is pretty good now. If it stays like this I will be happy, just thinking of the gains.

Push Press/Deadlift

I'm always hesitant to say that a session was easy but tonight really was.

Push press timing was a little off to start but sorted quickly and they were snappy. Deadlift was just insanely speedy tonight, for me anyway. Seated dumbbell work was up 4 reps on last week, will increase weight on these next week.

Dropped the dips as they are not helping my tendinitis in my left arm plus I don't think they add much after the other pressing work. Will just add another set to the dumbbell work.

Not looking forward to 6x5 deads on Friday, in fact the next 3 Fridays are all awful with 6x5, 6x6 and 5x5.

Even if easy, that's still a good lot of accumulative volume with a respectable load

Deadlift

I have no idea how I managed it tonight. Sides are the same, subsided a little but very much there in abundance. I have an epic cold to boot with my sinuses playing up so not feeling tip top.

Started off well enough, very fast and then after the first 3 sets I thought my head was going to pop. Very nearly bailed. Had a 10 minute breather which helped a little but not much. Just battled through, by the last set I had resorted to singles to get them out as the pressure in my head was beyond belief. All felt light but just couldn't recover properly.

Rows weren't much better, spewed again after the second set. Finished off with the assistance bits easy enough, weight increases all round on last  week and no real indication that it felt heavier.

Deadlift
5 x 60
4 x 100
3 x 140
1 x 160
1 x 180
5 x 190
5 x 190
5 x 190
5 x 190
5 x 190
5 x 190
Power rows
8 x 125
8 x 125
8 x 125
Close grip lat pull down
8 x 73
8 x 73
8 x 73
Hammer curls
8 x 20
8 x 20
8 x 20

Yeah mate stellar effort.

See if you can get hold of some of this stuff for the sinuses. Does wonders for me.

Wasn't sure if I was going to go today but felt OK this morning so went and put in a token effort.

I'm trying, the addition of the seated dumbbell shoulder work seems to be paying off already. However, the problem with my left side is timing and balance, I just turn into some sort of spaz trying to do single arm pressing on the left.
