Total 0% instead ot cottage cheese/quark

Nice alternative for those of you not keen on cottage chese/quark for your bedtime snack is Total 0% fat greek yogurt.

2 x 150g tubs has about 27g of protein and has a much smoothier taste than CC/quark with no aftertaste.

There is no added sugar it is 100% natural. Anyway there is only 6g of carbs in one tub so it would be pretty much the same as cottage cheese/quark. Its only made with skimmed milk.

Are you counting the lactose as sugar?

    Sugar mate!

not sure why that is a universal issue

TBH eat what you like mate

IMO there are 'better choices' as a universal but whole diet

if people are happy to drink milk before bed why not eat yoghurt?

neither floats my boat...but thats my shout

i enjoy a fair bit of yoghurt on my carb up day, would anyone say this is a bad choice?
    low fat btw.
i love yoghurt and thort the low fat, highish carbs and medium pro would make it a good choice, but have never seen anyone else use it.
is the dairy likely to be a problem?

6g of carbs may still turn into a pumpkin after midnight though

IMO this is a very good tip and a stratergy I frequently use with my clients

Great tip (and on a personal note, I'm a yoghurt lover!)

Well said James, a possitive comment amongst lots of negative ones in this forum.

We are not all competing. (in fact FEW of us are) so a less than tunel vision attitude is more than welcome.
