Training in the morning ?

i've been reading many diet schedules and most of them suggest that a work out should occur late afternoon. as for me i find my energy to up in the morning as opposed to when im done at work.. i just wondering what you guys feeel.. I would think it will not affect you body much, as long as you get your work out IN.

There is no problem with working out in the morning. Arnold made the split routine famous. That is splitting your workout in half, morning and evening. I work shift work so some of my workouts are at 6 am. Shift work also gives me the opportunity to do split routines and I like it a lot! As long as you feel good about your workout and you get your needed nutrition I say go for it.

i've been told that working out in the morning is the best time to burn fat but i don't know if that is true. i don't like working out in the morning. i have absolutely no energy and no motivation. evening workouts are what's better for me.

i agree working out early morning is murder for me could be something to do with no fuel for 8 hours. Seems to depend on your lifestyle habits work etc. i find my peak energys are about midday and 4-6 in the evening.

    everybody is different.

I found that after a couple of weeks of swearing loudly at the alarm clock, struggling to drag my ass out of bed at half 5 and finding myself eating my post-workout meal at 9am, my body got used to morning training. I do feel more awake when I get to work afterwards, but I'm a zombie by 9pm! One fantastic benefit is that the gym only has a few committed trainers in it at 7am, no wasters taking up benches, no groups of 'hard-as-nails' teenagers flexing their wee biceps in the mirrors - bliss!
