Training on vacation

Hi,

I travel a lot and whilst I always check in to a hotel with a gym, I tend not to have much time to use them (and the gyms are poor with low weights/minimal machines).

What is the best way to get a pump - especially before a good night out?  I have used rubber bands for resistances exercises to do high reps which seem to work, and google will show lots of hotel room exercises, but has anyone got other tips?

Thanks

Depends on the quality of the weights area at the hotel.
I will always ask for at least a moderately-attired fitness suite. Always train first thing in the morning before it gets too warm, quick few lengths of the pool and breakfast. Done.

Personally this has always been a tough one for me.

Vacation has so many temptations. Before I leave, I have all the intentions of trying to stay in shape and workout but it usually comes to end when I see all the food and drinks.

Anything you can pack in your bag can help.  Checkout the TRX system.  I have one and it travels well.

    Good luck.
