I had a big crow in my garden the other day but I wouldn't have thought it could kill a lamb! I won't be letting my kids play out any more incase it comes back!

ORIGINAL: ginasmg come on please enlighten me im missing something? Well, basically he's rearing lambs for the slaughter, and left them at the Beckham's place. A week ago (aired tonight) they found one of them badly mutilated, having been killed "by a neck bite" then eaten neatly, unlike how a dog. Needless to say, every single p1sshead in the pub has seen a large black cat roaming the countryside...

Big cats do exist guys. Someone shot a lynx last year. It was in the papers, photos and all. You get those crazy nature mofo's that release all kinds of animals in our countryside. Boar, big cats and wolves ( maybe havent gone as far as wolves yet though). Im a believer anyways

imo a fox would have trouble killing the lamb but not imposible, other uk habitants that might have had it are a large bird of prey could have only one we have big enough is probably a golden eagle again far fetched. i think my suspect would be a dog to be honest the dog bit the sheepp on the neck and broke its neck. cahnces are all the flesh that was eaten was taken by scavengers, crows magpies foxes etc with regards to big cats in the uk i think there could be a tiny number of them funny how people always think its a black panther tho eh lol

was very weird, they way it was left the flesh and all big muscles were perfectly ripped off the lamb, without breaking bones etc, like a dog would do.. not to pleasant while drinking my shake

ORIGINAL: danimal funny how people always think its a black panther tho eh lol yeah, me and the missis said the same thing. There's no doubt in my mind that there are pockets of lynx and maybe puma breeding in the UK, yet the "sightings" describe one of the rarest cats in the world - the panther. When people discuss the pets kept before the DWA scheme came in, lynx and puma were by far the most popular. Panthers cost millions - if you could afford one I'm pretty sure you could afford the DWA.
