I was hoping the camera would focus on the crowd instead, so I could see a fight

The Flanagan v Hooker fight was a decent scrap but can you imagine having actually paid money to watch that main event?

I'm not sure I'd ever pay money to watch boxing in the flesh ever again if I had paid for that.

That guy he fought had no intention of trying a leg. Even when Fury was watching the crowd that no user tried nothing. Like he was just grateful to be there

Seferi looked to me as though he was trying to go for a few takedowns before realising he was wearing boxing gloves lol.

Yeah it looked like a better fight than the main event.

The Fury fight was a headline event purely on the Fury comeback story it was always going to be a nonsense fight. It was just to find out if remembers what the inside of a ring looks like.

The main event for boxing fans was always the Flanagan fight and that was very entertaining - right result but silly scoring.

How did Fury actually perform out of interest? Or was the fight that easy he went through the motions?

Absolute disgrace to the sport. The crowd fight was the most interesting thing. Fury is getting battered by every man and his dog at HW there is no way a man with a world title on his mind can come out and perform like that against a bloke who frankly was only a small cruiser. Forget the lack of skills shown its all about the mindset and coming out like that shows he's more interested in image and hype than getting down to business.

I think he's fighting again in six weeks. Personally would like to see him fight Price but theres no way his camp will allow that. I dont expect him to fight anyone in the top 10 british fighters any time soon. Fcking disgrace.

Flanagan fight was interesting and Heffron is an absolute beast!!!

Flanagan fight was an all out war, that clash of heads was a real shame though - the outcome could have been different if it wasn't for that.

Think they got the decision right and I was surprised one judge had Flanagan to win. 2 very talented boxers!

The media have not highlighted the fact his 2015 win over Christian Hammer in the fight before Wlad , is now a void result due to his drugs ban for Nandrolone.  In reality he should never have fought Wlad (if they had not have messed about with the legal side of things).

Total joke of a fight and TBH I think Fury is taking the pis* and that's his goal.

Has it been official called a nc? I did not know that. In other news Wilder vs AJ looks set to happen now which will be excellent.

My current boxing HW top six

    1) AJ
    2) Wilder
    3) Povetkin
    4) Whyte
    5) Ortiz
    6) Parker

    Also rans

Takam, Bellew, Miller, Brazeal, Pulev then maybe Joyce. Not clued up on the US domestic scene at hw tbh.

Proper messed up events.  Hughie effectively fought through his 2 year ban.  Even fighting Parker for a World title if this is accurate.

Boxrec still has it listed though.

They all take something so its a question of who gets caught. Can't be arsed with the current crop of HW's would rather watch fights of the past on YouTube for my boxing fix.

I'm waiting for George Foreman to make his third comeback and clear up (Joke).

Theres plenty of amazing fights AJ vs Klitcko was excellent. Whyte vs Browne also good just to see the fat lad sparked. UK boxing is truly thriving at the moment and some of the skills on show are sublime. Super Series really has helped imho.

I'd be having Parker a bit higher on that list. HW is good at present - out of that list of 6 any match-up is hard to call (Joshua being the safest bet as he's beat 2 of them, not super convincingly though!)

Looks like AJ - Wilder is on, and as above Whyte vs Parker will be one hell of a fight.

Hughie Fury is a reasonable fighter and would put him in around Pulev and Bellew on potential. Tyson is a wild card with a big mouth.

Usyk has been claiming he'll move to heavyweight if he wins his next fight, sure he'd give some lower on the list a run.

Well you can say you have Spaccy Wilder and AJ as one and two because they hold the belts then the others as all pretty much equal imho.

Hughie is a small HW and will just get blown away though he did look sharp against Sexton.

Usyk might move up if he beats Gassiev but both of them are more than a handful for all but the most elite fighter in the HW division the only down side is they are quite small think 6,2 wish respectively and they dont have that monster shot like AJ or even Povetkin. However Usky in particular has amazing movement and could/should just beat everyone on points.
