UK Female Bodybuilder Please Help!

Hi, I’m a 3rd year Media Production student at Farnborough Technical College and I’m about to start my final dissertation. This is in the form of a video documentary on a subject of my choice: Female bodybuilders.
But before I can even go ahead and think of filming or even putting a proposal to my tutor I need to find some INTERVIEWEES! Part of the approach of my documentary will be about taking the bodybuilder out of the gym, and look at their daily lives, diets, schedules and how modern society accepts the muscular women.
If you think you can help or know someone who can please contact me through email: master_logray@hotmail.com
Or via phone on 07761301135.

Don’t worry this documentary wont be broadcast in any way and if you can help you’ll be doing my a REALY big favour!

Thanks

We're slowly getting there, but for part of my research i was hoping you guys could answer a couple of questions:

What do you think of the Female Bodybuilding scene in the UK?

What changes could be made to entise more women to compete?

Have you competed or are planning to compete?

If so where & why? & if not why not?!

Thanks girls(and guys too!, cant forget them!)

Hi Mark, I used to compete years ago in the Miss Figure comps. The standard today is a lot more muscular and there is a wider use of steroids within the female scene. This is something that I personally am not happy with and if I do not feel I am making the standard naturally then I will not compete. I was hoping to compete this year but I have too much body fat to lose. I intend to compete in the North West area when I eventually do. I think to make it more encouraging is to have an association maybe purely for females and one that has clear defined body types and encourages if not insists on natural competitors only.
