Some good heavy events there JC. How do you rate your chances in each event ?

Oh and I was really pleased to hear about Olympic Sports Gym sponsoring you. Just shows what a commitment they are making to pushing strongman forwards

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

Yes mate, Mark at Olympic Sports Gym is determined to make what is probably the best strongman gym in the North at the moment, into the best in the country. I belive today he has acquired an inch Dumbell for us to play with :-)

His commitment seems even greater when considering that I am competing against him on the day and plan to beat him lol

Yeah mate, its a heavy comp, probably the heaviest 105 comp with have had for years (if not full stop) in this country.

Should be fine with everything, although the awkwardness of the OH events might be more difficult than the actual weight. A 120 log is normally cake for me!

Biggest worry is probably the farmers, Not done them for a while, and have felt laboured at lighter weights of late

Max farmers it is then on Sunday !  wish I was coming down this weekend it sounds like it's going to be a mental session.

I dont think I'll be playing with an inch dumbell any time soon , well not unless 'max roll along floor' becomes a recognised event.

    Good luck mate !

I thought the inch was 78kg with over a 2 inch thick handle?

Have a great session on Sunday mate. Now you're semi-pro you've got to put the graft in in front of your sponsor!!

Millsy - you are indeed right regarding weight and size, 1 inch 2 inch, 76KG - 78KG - whats the difference lol

Tony - thanks mate, hopefully can put a good performace in, otherwise owe Cleggy an apology!!

Boar - I love the cardio LOL. I will probably be wondering why the hell Im doing it half way through the comp

Thanks for the offer of the camers, but I would not trust the misses with a disposable, never mind your bad boy!!

I'm competing in this tough comp! I'm looking forward to it, but I'm feeling nervous - more so because of the quality of the competitors, rather than the heaviness of the events! I hope I can perform to the best of my abilities. I'm dreading the loading event!
