USN Protein Fuel 50

Hi guys,

Thinking of trying ready made protein shakes for the first time but I've been told they are no good.

But at 50g protein - can you go wrong?

https://www.t-nutrition.c...tein+Fuel+50+6+x+500ml

Anyone had experience of the drinks in subject line?
Expensive but if they good - then I'm up for trying them.

Cheers

Paul

Yes you can go very wrong

its 50g of Milk protein mate , if thats what you want thats fine but if your planning on having them after training its pointless your better off having whole foods . You need whey after training because of the fast digestion. Also they have 20g of sugar per bottle thats mental .

Plus the fact your paying £13.99 for 300g of protein.

    No good at all.

I think the bulk suppliers all sell much better ones. Even the ones you add water to are much better.

What Redwing said. No RTD drink is ideal, just useful. Ditto protein bars and so on.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Whey protein mixed with water?

Currently I use total protein non flavoured off myprotein and mixed with a smoothie drink.

What are your thoughts on this?

    Thanks

Theres nothing wrong with what your doing but you seem to be over complicating it mate. You dont need the smoothie.

Why cant you just have a couple of scoops of whey in a shaker then add some water ?  You cant get better value than that and will do the job you want.

I mix total protein with smoothie more so for the taste - it's beautiful.

I've used other protein shakes mixed with water and they not as nice as my protein smoothie I mix

If taste is your main concern, get down mcdonalds!! :)

seriously though it will be hard to help you if protein with water is a problem. its just not feasible to carry around smoothies or milk if yoir serious about training. Maybe your gym sells them like that but it can work out very expensive.
