Unflavoured Whey

So I just bought 4Kg of unflavoured 97% whey as I am trying to cut and so have moved away from my chocolate MRP.
I bought in bulk as I am doing an 8 week programme.  However having 'enjoyed' my first unflavoured whey drink, I wondered
if any of you guys had any ideas/suggestions on flavouring it?  Anyone buy bulk unflavoured and add to it later?  If so what do you use and how much of it do you use?  Do you add it pre/post shaking or do you mix it in with the bulk of the powder?

Thanks

You can either brave it or use nesquik if your macros will allow it.

A few of the board sponsors on here do flavouring products - we do a powdered one and I think bulk powders have just relaunched their flav drops.

This has been asked a few times before. Use sugar free squash, coffee granules, cocoa, crusha, nesquick, highlights, liquid flavours from bp or mp. recently been using Robinsons apple and toffee squash.

I generally use Bulk Powders maltodexterin and dextrose berry flavoured powder and add to my unflavoured whey for PWO.  Failing that I go for tesco milkshake powder.

If your macros don't allow it, then get some granulated or tablet sweetener (I use Stevia) and artificial cake flavourings (vanilla, caramel or strawberry work well).  2 or 3 sweetener tabs and half a teaspoon of cake flavouring does the trick with no extra calories.  Also instant coffee if you like coffee flavour.

I like the taste of unflavoured whey but when I do want flavour I blend the whey up with some fruits, strawberries and blueberries are my favourites.

Unflavoured and water for me. I find any of the flavoured options and sweeteners too sickly these days. I would say it kind of grows on you over time :)

just buy the flavoured whey in future, the % of macros added for the flavouring is so negligible it is not worth considering IMO.
People buy unflavoured and then add things to flavour it, often spiking sugars higher than if they just bought a flavoured powder. I can see the argument for varying flavours but the cost ends up stupid high for buying different bottles of flavouring etc

I think its a personal preference. Myself I prefer I flavoured protein - I can see exactly what's in it and its enjoyable to drink if you get a decent product. Mixing with milk post workout is a treat and like drinking a milkshake :) unflavoured for me was always a chore and no matter what I added it was not good!
