I've had a look in your journal, the volume you're doing on leg day is outrageous!

Managed a gentle 10k last night in just over an hour.

Trained back this morning:

Chins: 5x5
Deadlift: WUs 8x60kg 5x80kg, 3x100kg, 3x102.5kg, 3x105kg, 3x105kg, 3x107.5kg
CG pulldowns: 3x8x60kg
Cable rows: 5x35kg, 3x8x40kg
DB Bicep curls: 5x5x14kg

Quick run - 2k in 10 mins

Weighed in at 74kg this morning so fairly consistent with January but feel a lot more solid than I was back then.

Travelling to Germany tomorrow so will be out of the gym until Thursday at the earliest. Bit frustrating as I'm getting into a nice rhythm with it.

A good session which will see you through nicely until next week I'm sure mate. It won't take long to get back into your stride; in fact, after a few days' rest it may even be to your advantage. Just keep tabs on your diet.
Enjoy the trip

Cheers Floydy.

I came back with a bit of a virus. Tried to fight it off yesterday by covering myself in Vics and going for a run but I only managed 4k before I admitted defeat and returned to my bed. Got into the gym today (again slathered in Vics) and managed a very poor session:

Shoulder Press: WUs 8x20kg 5x40kg,3x5x50kg, 5x40kg
DB Arnie Press: 3x8x14kg
DB lat raises: 3x8x8kg
Front raise Plate: 3x8x10kg
Front raise Bar: 3x8x15kg
Single arm extensions: 3x8x7.5kg

Now time for a lemsip and an early night.

Chest today but threw in some light squats as I'm not feeling I'm doing enough of them.

Squats: 5x5x60kg
Bench Press: 4x5x82.5kg, 3x82.5kg, 2x80kg - would have failed without a spotter so put it back and dropped 2.5kg

Dips: 3x5 +10kg
Tricep pull downs: 3x8x10g each side

Good on you going when you're not up to it. Seems like every time you travel you come back with something lol

I know Brett, I think it's getting the cheap 6am flights. Struggling to shake this but powering on with the help of lemsip and vics vapour rub.

Back today:
Chins: 5x5
Deadlift: WUs 8x60kg 5x80kg, 3x100kg, 4x3x110kg, 1x112.5kg, 1x115kg, 1x117.5kg, 1x120kg
Cable rows: 8x40kg, 8x42.5kg, 8x45kg
CG pulldowns: 2x8x65kg, 8x60kg
DB Bicep curls: 5x5x14kg

Situps: 4x25
Press-ups: 20,15,10,5

Did the best part of the Limber 11 stretch routine to try to free up my legs and had a gentle cycle.

Having a frustrating week waiting for job applications so pushed myself a little further on the deadlift today and I'm pleased to have hit 120kg today.

Ran 11k in an hour on Saturday afternoon. Then promptly went out and got drunk (first time in a while) and have been feeling rough, tired and miserable (due to the demoralising status of my job search) ever since. Pied the gym yesterday so did a combination session today:

Squats: 5x5x80kg
Shoulder Press: 3x8x40kg
Lunges 3x8x20kg
Arnie Press: 3x8x14kg
Lateral raises: 3x8x8kg
Front raise (plate): 3x8x10kg
Front raise (bar): 3x8x15kg
Leg extension 3x8x20kg each leg
Press ups: 20,10,10,10

I'm an Accountant. Was at one of the Big 4 but quit to go travelling as I was just generally unhappy. The travelling did me the world of good but regretting quitting now as dealing with recruiters and 'talent acquisition specialists' is worse than my old job ever was! On the plus side, the longer I spend unemployed the more chance I have of returning to work with a six pack...

Switched up the order today and trained back because it's currently my favourite session:

Chins: 5x5
Deadlift: 8x60kg, 3x100kg, 4x3x110kg, 1x115kg, 1x120kg, 1x125kg, 1x125kg, 3x100kg
CG pull downs: 3x8x65kg
DB rows: 3x8x22kg each arm
DB Curls 5x5x14kg each arm

I just kicked one of the aussie big 4 will never go back. So happy in my new loan.

Pretty much every medium business an above have accountants don't they? Sure something will turn up.

Nice work.

Kicked them out? So you need an accountant ;)

There's a lot of stuff out there - some good, some terrible - but everything seems to be moving slowly, possibly with an eye on Brexit. I've had some interviews confirmed yesterday for things I applied to in January so things are starting to look up. Just need to nail one of the interviews and all is golden. Unfortunately, they'll most likely keep me out of the gym all of next week.

LOL I can't afford an accountant, even with the better rate I have now!

Good luck with the job hunting. Keep lifting though!
