VAR @ 50mg e/d or 100mg e/d?
Hi all, it's very unusual for me to ask a question on behalf of a friend, but I've been asked something I can't given a clear-cut answer to so thought I'd get MT input.
A good friend of mine, who has a superb diet and cardio regime (he is a professional Muay Thai fighter), is looking to add an oral to his supplements. He wants something that will provide moderate strength and lean gains, so he's going for Anvar, although I personally think Tbol might be as good, and wanted my view on the stuff. I've used Var only once, several years ago and, I believe, @ 75 mgs ED and had very moderate gains. I had better gains from 60 mgs ED Tbol for 6 wks. Basically the guy in question wants to know if he will benefit, in terms of strength gains and lean muscle gains, from 50 mgs ED. (He has BD gear which, I believe, comes in 50 mg doses). I'm not convinced that 50 mgs ED would be sufficient. I remember when I took it @ 75 mgs ED that my gains were minimal. However, I don't want to advise him to do 100 mgs ED because I tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to high-dosing orals. Basically it's a double question: is 50 mgs ED VAR too little for adequate gains? And is 100 mgs ED VAR too high a dose?
I was thinking one idea might be to taper it, ie 2 wks at 100 mgs ED followed by 4 wks at 50 mgs ED. As alwayas, views and opinions much appreciated.
