VEGAS

Anyone going this summer or been before?

First time this year.... 7 nights in the hard rock... looking forward to sunday rehab.

9 lads booked at the moment, looking like it'll be 11/12.... going to be expensive especially the lads i'm going with!

Hoping to catch a decent boxing match up when there (16th to 23rd june) but not looking likely....

Yeh, done it a couple years ago, really, really expensive week for me.

If there's a UFC fght night of any sorts, the town is electric. Find out where the afterparty is and if possible try and get the club concierges card and call him through the day, its awkward but if he's half decent give him some cash and explain that you have guys who want in. See what he says. We met one and got him half canned through the day, and he got us in the Afterparty at LAX for free.

The bouncers are tubes, be prepared to slip the some cash to get into clubs. If you can, get a group of hot girls with you, you have more chance of getting in places.

When you are in a club buy a booth girls will flock to you, and you can actually have the in club bouncers take women to your table and if you don't like the look of them they'll be taken away.

Clubs are packed full of prostitutes, they're everywhere. Quite a lot are gorgeous.

Don't order champagne if you go to Sapphires, they charge an uncorking fee, its ridiculous. Some beautiful strippers there though.

Tons of famous dj's etc have club residencies, like Steve Aoki at the Wynn.

If there's any UK sporting event you want to watch go to Blondies Sports Bar in the Miracle Mile Mall across from the Bellagio.

If you get the chance, grab the eggs benedict from the peppermill diner, they were amazing.

Yeh you can room order them direct or through taxi drivers. My mate ordered a Pamela Anderson look-a-like, what arrived was a 5ft 2" Asian girl.

Without wishing to sound too puritanical and pious, if you go all that way and don't go up the Sierra Mountains to see Lake Tahoe it would be a real waste of a journey.

Lake Tahoe is a considerable distance from Vegas!?  I went on holiday to Tahoe a few years ago.  We hired a big house with hot tub etc.  Was an amazing holiday, but entirely different from a trip to Vegas..

If you leave the strip for more than an hour, your missing out on valuble drinking/gambling/blimping the b1tches time!!!

Ive been twice and did not leave the strip other than 1 visit to the old town (which is a grotty dive apart from the light show).

Im going again when funds allow, hopefully stay in the Imperial Palace as its the cheapest of the best locations. Otherwise Ballys.

Ive stayed in Ballys before, loved it. Also stayed in the Monte Carlo, great hotel but too far up the strip.

Neb, change that hotel mate. Its a sh1t hole and you'll end up in the kids club with the clowns... haha

Going on a adventure trip Zion, Bryce canyon, Grand Canyon etc for a week in October and gonna stay in Vegas for 2 or 3 days at the end.
This will be my 5th trip to Vegas and I find 2 or 3 days more than enough. First day brilliant, 2nd great, 3rd day have had enough.
I hate the way some of the hookers work in some of the nightclubs they geniunely look and act like normal girls but they usually have a 'pimp' with them and fleece you into buying drinks and drugs of the 'pimp'. One of the girls asked if we wanted to go to a party in her place. 'Her place' was some seedy downtown stripclub where some of my mates were fleeced even more.
Saying that, its great in small doses

I had a really bad time in Vegas.Way too long, 10 days-went at the wrong time,December-It was one of the coldest months on record-got food poisoning in Bellagio and found everything to be very very expensive so for me I wouldent go again unless it was for a long weekend at the Olympia or something...

    Bored in Vegas????
Other than a beach or sh1t hole flea markets, everything else is there that you find at normal holidays (hot weather)...
You could question the beach point if you stayed at Mandalay Bay aswell.

1st visit 10+ years ago loved it - 1$ minimum blackjack tables and loads of free drinks. Last year though all the places on the strip seemed to have 10$ minimum blackjack tables and with my meagre resources I thought this was a bit too rich (played some cheap slots but not the same as all gathered round the table).

I'm with you on this...I'd be there every weekend if it was within driving distance, it has the lot!

Where do you normally holiday play? I'm pretty well travelled and love it there. Plus if money is a problem you don't have to cain that side of it, lots to see and do.

Each to their own I guess but I just thought Vegas covered every angle to be honest.

I was only 21 and she was 20, we went to few nice resttaurants , few bars , saw the odd good show. Maybe with me being quite young we didnt take full advantage of the place. Felt a bit pushed about like only aloud in certain restaurants for certain time so get you back gambling which im not in to. The hotels its self were very intresting to go around.
Only way i wanted to go back but cant now would of been to see a big boxing fight.

Ive been to kenya on safari, QE2, a mixture of allsorts. At the time we were going to go back to disneyland and the studios as was the same money but chose vegas for a change.
